Your save is not lost but the new loader failed to load it ( because of browser cookies preferences), so if you don't start again, you'll find your save back, just wait for Kong to publish version 1.71 that fixes the thing (+ adds a load button if you're experiencing any other problems with the "continue" button because of cookie restrictions).
Discovering the immense benefits of swarmwarp, now up to a week+ jump, has slowly started to ruin this game for me. The entire experience is waiting to click swarmwarp and adjusting.
super gratifying idle. One rec - a different entry for numbers would be helpful, saving calculations divided by 128x or 65,536x. Maybe like 1^(base the maximum # is in). So if my options now qre: 16,384, 80.3Qi, 321Qi, I'd love a 1,10,100^Qi to be available.
Enjoying the game, getting a bit repetitive at higher (^30+) levels, but I have a problem: "Improved Efficiency" Perk above level 9 says it turns from 10% bumps to 100% bumps (I got so excited, finally something exponential to keep things going!), but it doesn't work. Perks say I'm up to 300%, but universe says I'm at 130%. Please fix.
Umm...what am I "supposed" to do after beating level 16 on hard? It feels like I have more game to go, but upgrading also feels worthless since I already beat all the available levels...
The numbers are tracked/displaying incorrectly. Feels sloppy, both appearance and balance wise - maybe I'll come back in the future.
That now seems to be the way of the Kong idle game: put out some crap asap, start fixing, listen to the community as they search for bugs and come up with ideas for you... but, I also hope that's the case here, and I'll be back to see the more polished product.
Actually we do have our own roadmap :)
we fixed several bugs on 1.0.5, we will update in about 30 minutes (you can expect more content about 24 hours from now). As for releasing in beta, and listening to the community for feedback, I think that the reason is quite simple: it *feels* way better than developing "alone" (it gets really lonely, I think it is more fun to listen to requirements and being in a rush to fix bugs, etc)
the balancing in this game (esp benefit to old "floors") is pretty terrible. And the effects make the game laggy, while not being all that pleasant/beneficial. So, a relatively weak job at skinning cookie clicker (despite my general love of such games)
