Developer response from CodeRiftStudios Games are boring without community! And yes, the game is a bit slow at the start. We tried to pace it out so there's something to do throughout the life of the game. And also to make room for updates and more content later on. So glad you like it! Stay tuned for news of the first update! We are squashing a bug that affects some players at the moment, thats turning into more like a giant sewer rat or a problem.
