hatsworth gold medal was ridiculous. somewhat enjoyed playing the other castles but literally must have launched bombs at hatsworth over 200 times AFTER watching the walkthrough and knowing exactly when i needed to release. that was making me want to die.
I wasn't understanding why people thought this hard badge was so easy, then i noticed there was an upgrade button. Also, on insane mode, you don't need as many points for pwong pwner... it's something like 200 points needed
so much improved from epic war 1 and 2. THANK YOU! for taking out the crossbow on top of the castle... it was tedious imho, and the hero is way more fun. 5/5
ugh, i really dislike this game. wouldn't it be better if it were turn-based? pretty much all your action are performed at the beginning of the next day when you receive you income, then the rest of the time is just waiting. also really sucks how the infected rate will get down to 1 or 2 and just sit there forever. 1/5
good game but the restart button is very annoying in that if you go to restart right as you're failing the level, the place where the pause/restart button is located turns into the "more games" button. i accidentally hit "more games" over and over.
i really liked the first 24 levels, but i hated how the challenge mode only goes up 2 meters at a time n the 20's and 1 meter at a time in the 30's. You end up getting a good design and having to rebuild it over and over. why not just let me pick how many meters i want to attempt?
for 500 dmg badge, the weapon isn't the most important thing, though i think the highest base dmg weapon is the 2 handed axe you get at the forest faction capital (max 200 dmg i believe). The way to get 500 damage is to fight a bunch of battles and accumulate several magic items that add to damage (ie unholy, crushing, suffering, etc.). Without the magic items to augment your damage, i don't think it's possible to get 500 dmg. feel free to correct me if i'm wrong, though.
when you capture Grouzeno, the little village on the island in the northeast, you get access to a really awesome horse for 20,000 gold and hero warrior units that, once you get 5 for 1,500 apiece, will beat the game for you without your hero doing anything :). The fact that the forest faction can boost them with patriotism leads me to think that the forest guys are the best characters to be.
RAGE!!!
this game is horrible. for the love of god fix the horrible bugs, 1) almost every time i lost a level, when i hit retry, i then could not use my syringe in the level, forcing me to refresh and load game. 2) upon reloading, a lot of the time even when i clicked my game to load, nothing would happen, forcing me to refresh again. 3) sometimes after beating a level (a long tedious difficult mind-numbing level, like all of the later levels), the game would just sit there with no enemies on the screen, the level wouldn't end, forcing me to refresh. The game is fun for 5 or 6 levels... but the difficulty just scales up to "long and tedious" and makes the game suck. Most of the powers were useless. The cost of the powers did not scale up correctly... why is mana battery 3 $30,000? Did the game not get play-tested at all? Even at the end of the game it takes like 10 levels to get that much money.
This game needs serious work; in its current state, it is really really bad.
i have surviving the waves down, but I'm having trouble getting really high scores. Combos is the key, right? What's everyone doing to get 175k on hard mode?
