Sometimes keys didn't register, but that was probably just my laptop being horrible. Pretty decent design, liked the Touhou inclusion lol. Most of the songs were good, and Isabel is now stuck in my head as well.
The voice for the computer reminds me of the end of The Atlas by A Love Like Pi lol. It's really fitting, because that held a violent tone as well. Decent game as well, but I still prefer to not use the mouse for everything. Now to wait to see what type of game the next is... lol.
I played this around when it was first posted, but I was just watching Home Alone 2 and the kid caught a rope on fire. It reminded me of how fun this game was =D
Honestly, you may want to try making your own sprites for your next game. Seeing Stumpy and Deo I wanted to attack them instinctively; along with all the other MS stuff. Some of the ground is a bit sticky as well, and slopes shouldn't really be treated as stairs. Other than this, it was pretty fun, albeit short. An ending might help too =P
Since no one else has said it yet; this is really really bad... Clicking and holding a mouse to make people kiss is pretty boring, plus anything related to the Jonas Brothers is pretty bad to begin with...
Might be better to actually add a sword animation when you get the sword. Games also generally have a point, and don't just randomly end with a map that has a bonus-type room in it; both of which you cannot move on from. As most people have said, it has potential, but needs more structure.
Needs a mute button obviously =P I also managed to get through the first 7 rounds without having to move, which shoudln't really be possible in a game where you are allowed to move. My last issue was that if you lose, you need to start again. I honestly don't want to go through a bunch of waves again just to fail at the same spot. Gaining money when the soldiers kill enemies would be more helpful as well. Other than this, it's a good concept. Most things that could improve it have already been said.
There could be a set of weapon select keys so that you're not stuck with something if it was overlapping with an item you wanted, and making the ammo stack instead of having to click each time. The touchpad on a laptop doesn't work too well for this game either.
Reminds me of William and Sly, so I liked it just for that right away =P
However, I don't like the controls for the bonus game at the end. They should be the same as this game, or at least allow controlled jumping and integration of the sword instead of a random gun that the character has never been seen with until then.
Gets fairly easily eventually.. Needs a map as well. It was annoying not really knowing where I was heading within the campaign until i got there and had to turn or finally reached the end.
I prefer the games which you use arrow keys to move, and direct the mouse for firing, but this game is fairly entertaining nonetheless. "All Shapes and Sizes" is not very good for money in my experience though o.O
