Made it in 2 days. Damn that feels good..so good. That's one of the most satisfying badges I've gotten in a very long time. It probably took me 60 tries. Basically you need to get 15/1600 the first day like Snapshot said. Then put money into radar and fuel. The only reason I was able to make it on day 2 was because of that. It took me 12 minutes of bouncing, rising and falling. There were many times when I had fallen so far I thought I'd never make it back. But seeing what platforms were where, and having the fuel to keep going for so long is what allowed me to make it. IMO Fuel is the most important thing. The E rocket doesn't guarantee anything. I used it twice and ended up falling back down. But with so much fuel I was able to just keep it barley going and find enough platforms to make it.
I can't seem to stop playing this. The many different paths and routes that the enemies get still drives me insane but it's so addictive. It has a relatively high difficulty and later stages aren't for casual gamers but I'd go as far to say that it's the best TD along with Demonrift and KR.
Maybe I'm just a complete dumbass but I finished 20 days and still never figured out exactly how the crafting worked. Most things were incompatible despite being the right shape. I'm assuming it has to do with the colors but hell if I understood it. A decent overall defense shooter that gets pretty monotonous.
Ugh...just..ugh. Attacking is such a pain, basically having to just circle around and around trying to get close enough and not get hit. Movement is slow and everything is awkward. What's the difference between races? Everything is uninspired; cookie cutter enemies who never change, bland and boring dungeons, red and blue potions yada yada yada.
This was one of those games where despite not liking it, I spent so much time playing to finish it, that it actually grew on me and I miss it in a strange sadistic way.
Ok..finally beat it. A few observations. Floors 1 - 29 are easy. 30 is...pure insanity and where things get hard. Once you reach the invisible walls, they are key. They will block the spikes/turrets from hitting you and have to be used correctly to finish. In front of the door will always be a saw that has a very tiny time gap where you can just slip under it. There's a very specific path you need to take. Most of the levels past 30 require you to just blast through as fast as possible to survive right up to the final platforms near the door and then stop. You have to be very careful because if you rush now, the final saw that covers the exit will get you 90% of the time. So, find the path through trial and error, get to the other side as quickly as you can and then stop and plan your final move. It really is about finding the correct route, then getting the exact timing down. And of course..don't give up.
Son of a bitch! On floor 31, I did something else in another tab, then clicked back in the game window to keep playing and where do I accidentally click? The gigantic blue give up button...and they really start you back at floor 1...I didn't give up! I misclicked dammit! I'm off to face desk a whole Ikea store.
It's an.. okplatformer. But it's exactly like the Cactus Mccoy games. One serious, serious flaw; when you pass a checkpoint again, it needs to save. I have had to do 1 part of a level, which requires doing loops, 4 damn times now because it keeps sending me back to before I got them. And then right after is a boss who I die on because of your measly 3 hit points...causing me to have to do the entire portion of the level AND the boss all over. Platforming should stick to CM. This really should have been another in the restaurant series; I love them..this is just a sub par platformer.
I keep vacillating between liking this and not. Some of the levels I had no idea what the hell I was even supposed to be making. It stimulates the brain at least.
I never expected a sequel to the original. Must say I am disappointed that it's not the next in the -ria series. I know a lot of people are sick of them, which is probably why this was developed instead but..it'll always be my favorite series.
There really needs to be some kind of limit on their long range attacks. It's so damn annoying. Every time you get anywhere near them it's just a barrage of sawblades or projectiles. Which is a problem since you have to be right next to them to hit anything. And it's also frustrating how mute only mutes the music, not the sound effects. But, this is over 4 years old..never shall the code be touched again.
Ironic...you're being attacked by foxes, bears flaming skull AND being chased by some shadow nightmare with a scythe, but the most dangerous enemies? Small white rabbits.
Oh that's brilliant...let's put a damn restart button that deletes ALL progress in a spot right next to an area that must be clicked..really..genius idea...
