Wow. I really did not expect this get to a sequel. Awesome that it got badges too. And it has plenty of them so there's going to be a decent amount of time spent on this one.
Alright. After dying 4 damn times on 1:50 - 1:59, I'm officially frustrated. I'm gunna have to switch to the PC that actually has a mouse. That should make it a lot easier. This trackpad I think is slowing me down a lot and making it way harder than it needs to be.
.....Are you freaking kidding me? i died at 1:59. Even with the shotgun, there's just so damn many of them it's hard to take them all down since by the time you take out 5, another 10 have made it to the fence.
This was a great sequel. I cannot thank you enough for the target system. Knowing where to go and just having to find out how to get there is sooooo much better than having to wander around forever trying to figure out what you're supposed to be doing. If there's a third KEEP THE TARGET SYSTEM!! My only real complaint was the sunlight addition. It made getting sisters air take me a bit too long to figure out how to get to, and how to get past that huge beam at the very end. It was a little short, but other than those things, it's a fantastic, emotional sequel. I hope a KOLM III is coming soon and continues the story.
Wow. I didn't think this was going to get a sequel. I've never liked the "go here, then you have to go here before you can go there, repeat" type games but I enjoyed the first one. Looking forward to seeing what this one's like.
I've already commented on this, but after playing for awhile now..this would be a great game..WOULD BE. But the wait times to build and research things are totally and completley inexcusable. 20 minutes for the simplest things.....4 HOURS for a Fink??!!! FOUR FREAKING HOURS?!?!? It takes weeks to be able to get anywhere. Honestly I can't belive any developer thought that these waiting periods were a good idea. It must have been purley greed becuase that just baffles me that a flash game on a free site has things that take hours and days to do..just...wow.
Those rockets are so unfathomably cheap. They move at just under the speed of light, can turn on a freaking grain of sand, and they spray debris everywhere that you can't touch. Too bad they get fired every 2 seconds so before any of the flaming debris from the first stupid rocket has dissapeared 2 more are chasing you.
What makes this hard is the fact that you end up going way further than the spot your focus target is aimed at so you just end up flying past the spot you're trying to land on. It's very frustrating.
BIG TIP: Only build enough to have 1 potions shop, 2 catapaults and 2 front lines. The catapaults can take out the castles with easy, and once you defeat the dragon and have him fight for you, the castle battles are a breeze. Once you reach Dark Force, you will get blueprints for building shrines early on. Now is where all those unused building spaces you saved up come in handy. Fill all those spaces with shrines. Each shrine built adds to your damage by 10%. By the time I had 6 shrines built, I was able to do about 24,000 damage every turn. Of course I was at level 45 by this time but, even if you're not that high, the shrines will turn battles and bosses into nothing...of course if you've upgraded enough they are already but, still. + this so everyone can see.
I didn't know what to think of this one at first. The 3 combo attack system was different and took some getting used to, but once I did, I started loving it. My only complaint is the castle army battles, they're very slow and tedious, but other than that, it's fantastic. As long as the difficulty doesn't start ramping up like crazy (which I've seen a lot of RPG"S do, Crystal freaking Story) then this is going to be one of my top RPG's. So far 5/5.
I'm all for RPG's but it seems like 90% of the games that get badges anymore, are rpg's. and there are way way less games even getting badges than even a year ago..It's really dissapoitning.
This is such a shame. I've already put in my two cents but..it sucks because this is such an amazing game. I just freaking love it..but the time limit, and the extreme limitations put on you by tokens just...ruins one of the best games ever.
Am I the only one who the controls are screwed up for? Things keep slowing down in slo mo, and the ball just keeps going one way or anotherof it's own accord. This is a good, unique platformer but it's too hard with these jacked up controls.
Sorry to post a third comment,I know it's annoying. But this just pisses me off. 1 hour to unlock the first monster and 4. FOUR FREAKING HOURS to unlock the Fink. This is just pathetic...NO ONE wants to have to wait so longto do everything. Games are meant to be played and enjoyed, they're not for sitting there for hours on end just to be able to do the next thing.
Ok, so after playing it a bit more. This is a great concept, and a fun game. What ruins it? ALL THE DAMN WAITING!! Come on, seriously? I don't want to have to wait 10 minutes to DAYS to be able to finish things, that is...infruatingly stupid. This is another example (also like Swords & Potions) of a great game, totally and completley ruined by both greed, and time related things. Save that shit for WoW and other Pay to Play games. NOT FLASH GAMES ON KONGREGATE!!
