I've only been playing a few minutes but I'm noticing everyone talking about having to pay real money and time limits. This is a growing trend that is concerning me. Swords & Potions for example. That is an incredible game, one of the best out there. But having to pay for tokens and the day limit, totally ruins what could be one of the top 5 games. I'm worried that this is going to catch on, and if that were to happen, everything from badges to number of members will plummet. As it is there are way way fewer badges than say,a year ago. DEVELOPERS: STOP MAKING HALF YOUR GAME REQUIRE REAL MONEY! I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH A FEW PREMIUM FEATURES COSTING, BUT YOU'RE TURNING PLAYERS OFF WITH THESE TIME LIMITS AND FEES. STOP!
Damn..I just earned 75 points from this one. That makes me like it even more. One of my favorite platformers...not one of my favorite games, but very very high on the platformer list.
I love this one. A unique, challenging but not brain busting platformer. You still have to use your brain and it's tough in spots, but it's not like games such as Upbot Goes Up or the Electric Box games where you spent 45 minutes on one level and then you have a headache.
What the hell. First thing you have to do? Decide between 8 characters with 17 freaking stats each. That is way way too much. Congratulations, simply the character select screen is going to make me pass.
It's a good game..but the challenges rely far too heavily on random luck. Really the only way to beat them is just restarting over and over until the certain thing(s) you need to destroy get hit enough to blow up.
Well, an incredible game has been ruined for me. I just noticed the day limit everyone was talking about. Seriously? It takes long enough to get the badges without having to wait. That is inexcusable. TO THE DEVELOPER: You made an amazing game, but your insane greed ruins it. Seriously man, take away all this token and waiting to play crap, and maybe people won't keep calling you the money grubbing, greedy developer you are. I'm posting this on their page too.
I gotta say. I absolutely love love this so far. I've seen it many times but I always thought it was just another rpg. It's one I'm going to be spending a lot of time on. Mainly because every badge takes a long time, but, as long as it stays this enjoyable, I'll enjoy the hours put into it.
I really enjoyed this one. I had my own stress meter there at the end though. The 7th unique treasure was in Greer's Ambition and I got down to week 30. It took me forever to find it and that damn 500 hp Skeleton kept beating me. Even with 100 combat defense and 100 attack I only had 160 and it had to miss about 80% of the time. I finally found the chest after wandering around every single other spot, had 3 fights in a row and got lucky enough to have none be the skeleton. Awesome game. I'm off to play the sequel.
I know this is supposed to be hard, but nothing works on any of them. Idk if it's cause I'm using a laptop or what but. I can't get anything to happen in any level. No clicks, no typing, nothing will happen even on lvl 1.
I just can't enjoy this one. All because of 1 thing. The time limit. I get that you can go back...but there is still a limit and if you don't do everything exactly perfectly with no mistakes so that you make it by 21:00, you have to keep starting over with things. But whatever, I got the badge and I can be done with it.
This is a really great series. Love it. I just can't belive completing all 210 quests only gets you a medium. Kong is starting to push medium badge difficulties really high latley. The other 2 I can see being mediums but...it's going to take a long time to finish all 210. Cut us some slack kong. It takes 400 points to go up just one level.
There is so much I could say about this game because I've been playing it for hours. It is an incredibly original and unique game. The art is great and the VO's are amazing. It's really fun doing something so new for awhile...but once it starts getting tedious..it gets bad. It took me hours of trying different items on different zombies before I finally figured out how to get advanced reactions. And even then I couldn't get an advanced reaction on some items and I still don't know why. The whole, research notes, tapes, then try out more items on the zombies over and over and over and over 25 times does start getting very monotonous. Once I had to start just getting a certain number of reactions, I was there forever trying to get them. So..I could say more but, overall, amazing concept, art and voiceovers. Great gameplay for like an hour..after that..it does it boring. I do hope to see a sequel with a bit more variety. And that is the longest I've ever spent getting medium badges.
