So after playing this game a little longer...the money is no longer an issue..I bought every part but..the game is still crazy hard. It never lets up, the upgrades don't get much better and you just get more and more s hit flying at you. Tokyo II you have to destroy enough buildings, survive long enough AND kill 3 other mechs. Most games get a bit easier as you progress, but this game just never lets up on the frustrating difficulty.
First off, your energy level is far too low to be able to defend yourself against the constant barrage of tanks, jets and helicopters. You only get a few shots and they just keep re spawning. Secondly, you move far too slow, by the time you manage to reach anything, half your health is gone. Not enough humans for energy...that's the biggest problem is the energy...there's just not enough humans to replenish it which causes you to die unfairly because you can't do anything. By the time your destructo meter is almost full, you can't find the last little hut and you're being barraged by way too many things but there's no buildings left, so there's no humans left so you can't defend yourself and your health just shoots down at the end. Lastly, you don't get nearly enough money...the most I've managed to get is 6 million in one round..and with many parts costing 50, 60+ million EACH, it takes forever to save up. It has great potential but it's just unfairly hard.
For sure an interesting take on the platformer. The uniqueness factor ends very quickly though and then it just become annoying having to find the right angle to get what you need, or having the camera swing around to the wrong perspective. Fun for about 2 minutes. 2/5
The hard badge is just impossible...even with everything in the shop maxed. The only way I can get 25,000 is with all the omega items...that's just...impossible...its sad too because I spent hours trying for it and it was all for nothing..otherwise a great game.
Fun game. It should get boring..but just doesn't for some reason. To make beating the game a breeze: play time attack and you'll rack up money quick. Save up enough to buy everything and up all the stats. The story mode won't even be a challenge after.
I'm sure I'm not the first to say this but this is one of the most unique puzzle games I've ever seen...it's challenging but not over the top. Very different but gets boring pretty quickly. 3/5
God this game is frustrating. I just keep barley missing getting every single damn reel to get gold. The problem is, THE CAR IS IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTROL!!!! It basically just flies around in the opposite direction you want. And trying to use the booster just makes you shoot around and spin in circles while you fly backwards...there is just no control of the car, and that's a huge problem considering to get every reel the most important thing to have is control. Fix the controls and the spinning/flying around every which way and you'll have yourself a halfway decent game.
Amazing potential. Poorly executed..its like remember the Driver games for the Ps2? Same deal...it seems like no one can make a really good stunt car game. It's not bad..just..jump off ramp...tires explode off and your stuck in place until you use the "boost" and you hover all over in the air a few seconds like a drunk bee. Repeat.
I've been playing this game for about a week on and off now and I absolutely love it. It's just perfect in every regards in one..one that is an enormous problem. There's basically no directions, you have only the vaguest idea of what you're supposed to be doing, and there is no way of knowing where to known where what you're supposed to do even is. I've spent so many hours just wandering in the general area of where I think I'm supposed to be trying to get further. If there was some more help on where to go this would be one of the best online games ever. Even with this massive setback, it's still an amazing game.
A big thing that helped me was to just keep the first animal you get at the very beginning of the game. I didn't trade it out at all and he just kept leveling up at about the same rate as I did. He does a ton of damage to enemies, which makes every battle about twice as easy. Fantastic game.
The real problem with all these games is the time you have to spend waiting for the customers. There's just too much lost time when your food is overcooking because you have to wait for them to slowly list each ingredient..also makes it 10x harder with a trackpad. Overall good though.
I'm not quite sure why I like this game so much...I mean im 21 years old making tacos in a game..whats the matter with me? oh well...the amount of upgrades and diversity is just awesome. It would be a lot funner if i didn;t have to use a trackpad though.
Pretty fun..only real problems are aiming is kinda tough and it suffers from the Castlevania curse, getting knocked backwards when you get hit, leading to your demise.
Ugh...tedious as hell. The artwork is kinda nice but the whole game is just guessing for the most part until you get the right one...then having to be blow back by the wind when you choose wrong and lose a bunch of progress. 1.5/5.
This game is seriously impressive. It's probably the longest platformer I've played. I got everything (exceot 6 freakin coins! 6!) and it took me an hour and 15 minutes to beat the first level.
