Kong. u've taken something as simple as sitting back, relaxing and enjoying a simple game very frustrating. U're game, u can do with it as u want but I believe u owed the ppl a little smother transistion. At times I can open the gamed w/no problem. Other times it takes a good half hour. To say that is aggarvating is putting it mildly.
Been playing this game, off and on, for perhaps 5 years now. It maybe 1 month or 6 months between visits. Visits may be for an hour or 3+ hours. I tire of games rather easily and this is one of the few I've held onto for so long. And, to put that in perspective, as an avid gamer since the days Pac-Man ruled all the lands, I've played, I'm sure, thousands of different games. Not saying the game doesn't have a wart or two, they all do.
Can be tuff (ie:impossible:)), but a well though-out game that has robbed me of more personal and preciously valuable time than I'd care to admit to:).
Games warts and needs are, I’m sure, being attended too, That aside, one of the more enjoyable and relaxing games I’ve ever played, and I date back to the days when Pac-Man ruled all the lands.
If u have a piece of equipment you're not using but want to keep, u must save it in inventory, then when selling or emptying your inventory u must do it one piece at a time so as not to lose your saved piece. Too be able to lock those saved pieces in would be great, and save some aggravation.
No biggy but your heros loc in the mini-map is, at times, impossible to see. Even taking the screen up to 125% helps very little. I play on a
laptop, which doesn't help matters any:). But still, it's a bit agravating.
First played this game 3 or 4 years ago and, although I still love it, it's
easly beatable with a shotgun, assault rifle, sniper and rocket launcher, no upgrads necessary on eany of them. The vehicle is good for blocking the entrance to supply room 2 and keeping the bad guys out, but othed than that, forget it (my opinion anyway):)
While I freely admit to being one of Sara53's wittless ones, I pretty much concur with all said. I especially like the idea and drool at the thought of a weapons or loot shop.
U're response to my May 28th post served to remind me that my first line of defense is usually whine, whine & more whine, prior to even considering whether my complaints held any merit at all. I will endevor in the future not to comment unless it's of a construtive nature. All that aside, I belive that RougeSword has a long and storied future in the gaming industry. Don't respond to this please, I've taken up enough of u're time already. ty
Whoa, made it to 8 of 13 green ones. First tims since the changes that I'd managed to make it even close to that far despite many, many attemps, Not sure if it was my superior ganesmanship (kinda doubtful:)), blind luck or Dev's charity. :)
Come on guys, bring back the fun, excitment and expectations of the game, which has been minimized in nearly all areas.
The game did get more difficult, and so we are going to scale back the rankings of the higher players so games are more winnable at high levels. (Relative standings will remain the same.) There also skills that we haven't added yet, which will help. And we are going to do some other things, like remove Whiff. Most of the feedback we've gotten is just that the game is now too hard, which is fair, but we'd love to get feedback about specific things independent of their effect on difficulty. Do you like the new dice system? Do you like Feats? Do you like the new skill bonuses? They take time to get used to, so maybe wait until after the rankings adjustment, and get a win under your belt, before answering.
About 10 or 11 games after the changes, I've made it to the Lairs once, managed to slay perhaps 2 dragons, then died. Many times I've not even been able to make it past the first opponent in the caverns. Perhaps it's me, I'm not exactly a skilled gamer:), but it seems the odds are now stacted pretty heavily in the bad guys favor. Not giving up by any means, will keep trying!
Don't recall ever playing a game, and I date back to the days when Pac-Man ruled all the lands, where the Dev put so much effort in explaining even the tinest nuances of the game. That was one of the first thinges I noticed when I started playing this game, and it continues in the changes made today. Most games give you a 'use mouse to aim and shoot' period. ROUGESWORDS time and efforts in this matter are laudable. But be forwarned, this will not stop me from losing:). ty
you can click on the star in the info window of the item, it will set it as favorite and it will not be sold.
