When farming for consumables, or anything for that matter, those hallways seem to get longer and lonlier each trip. I've built crews based purely on movement speed but quickly found myself in the proverbuale 'glass house'. I've built second crrew's based on movement speed for use when farming but. and for a litney of reasons. that neverr worked out very well. Would a 2x, or even a 3x, button be feasible to shorten the manotemey of farming? That would be a whole new ballgame, at least for me.
And last and least, I've cleared assension 6 and will be in 7 as soon as I finish this post. My name should be somewher on the leader board, under some category, but it's not to be found. Where's my glory :)?
My biggest compliant is the ease in which an item can be lost. The latest, and what prompted this post, a soulbound item I was trying to add a combination charge to, although I admit that I've yet to understand what a combo charge does or why I was trying to add one:). That said, I find this one of the most fasinating little games I've played in a long while. Neither so simple nor so complex as to cause discouragement. And last but not least, I've perused this forum and 'studied' Lafunk's response to the various post's. Lefunk comes across to me as one of the good guys, as opposed to someone trying to act cordiual in order to sell a product. As such, I think I'll take a look at the other games he/she has developed
@Ilovetrolls & takashiKurorkai, I copied the following from someone's earlier post. Helped me!
'To fix the screen alignment problem press "control and 0" (not on the num pad), which will reset your screen to its default size. Refresh the screen. After you start the game and get to the character selection screen you can press "control and +" to zoom in as far as you like.'
High on my wish list would be some kind of indicator showing which room(s) you've been to, or missed, prior to going to the next floor. Perhaps a graying out of each room you enter on the minimap.
My major complaint is the time that must be spent in training. I'd guess that 50 to 75% of my time so far (level 63) has been in training, which, for me anyway, quickly grows very boring. Also, it'd be nice to hover over equipment and see stats. Other than that the game is a blast! Argl has done a tremendous job with this and I'm very excited about a possible sequel or his/her next work.
What am I missing? Been working very hard on the 'defend' missions in the last three areas (broken hills, freeside & grayditch) on hard+ and they seem impossible to complete. I've found all the inspectors so I assume I have all the equipment, all have max upgrades. I've spent 3 solid days using every possible combination and strategiy I can come up with yet I'm usually dead in less than a minute after they begin their assault, managing to kill a few bosses while a couple of hundred sweep by me, or more correctly said, over me. At this point, using what I have, those missions seem utterly impossible to defend. My consolation is that it's been a blast (no pun intended:) getting to this point. sigh!
Great game with one pitfall. After capturing an area which, at least in the later rounds, takes some doing and not a small amount of time, you have time for perhaps one, possibly two, upgrades before you are under attack again. With only one or two upgrades that attack is impossible to defend. You must then scout the area once again, or possibly three or four times again. The first time is fun, the repeats are aggravating.
Doesn't mean much in regards to the overall game I suppose but I love how quick, easy and through it is to try out the various builds for your character and pick the one you find the most appealing. appealing.,,beautiful!
@johnny ashes.... http://www.kongregate.com/games/Bigpoint/drakensang-online, go to ‘Forums’, open, then click on ‘Technical Questions & etc, click on search, type in ‘error 24’ hit enter and just dig until you find something that works. A cleared cache got rid of my ‘error 24’ problem. Good luck
Never seen so many 'insanely hard game' and 'ridiculously easy game' comments all directed at the same game before. Me..I barely get past the tutorial level.
I scored 41000 +/- on Hell but the game will not acknowledge it. High scores box continues to read 'no scores have been recorded for this time period etc' in both the 'Today' and 'This Week' slots.
Zombies will pay dearly for this:)
Thank you! I'm working hard to think about ways to make the training more engaging and less repetitive in the sequel :)
