It would be nice if you could write more somewhere about how the game works. I always have more questions... like, do the bonuses for trees, trenches, and sandbags stack?
would be better if it weren't fake-3d - or at least if the perspective was closer to bird's eye. trying to get at the right angle to see everything ruins the strategy.
*engineering stuff (and sometimes rocks and trees) still disappears, verrrry annoying to lose a bunker and 6 points this way
*artillery is overpowered... if it covers basically the whole screen, and kills tanks and entire bunkers, surviving an artillery strike is not very interesting
Love the game. Suggestions...
*It would be nice to have more detailed rules. For example, when is someone dead? What, precisely, do all the air strikes do? How much protection do trees vs. trenches vs. bunkers give?
*It would be nice to micromanage the units a little bit more, or at least have them do fewer stupid things. Like, I want my bazookas to hold fire until they're at the front line; I want the medic to heal these units, rather than the those; I don't want my reinforcements to rush straight forward into the barbed wire; I want the engineer to move away from the mines as soon as they're built, dammit!
*It would be nice to make the game more intense, or at least have the option to do so... a 20 minute game could easily become a 5 minute game.
