This is still a fun game, but I have to agree with Virgil Diablo. I prefer canabalt. Whether or not you get a high score in this game is largely dependent on how lucky you get with grabbing items, most items really being beyond your reach most of the game - and not necessarily how long you last although that helps. With Canabalt, points are mostly about how long you last and there's just a little bit of luck factored in with respect to the windowed buildings and other obstacles.
Seriously, they should let me just select my robot and then click again to move it. Or maybe even hotkeys. This click and drag thing is a pain in the butt.
Robots don't listen to commands... click and drag is a less than convenient way of moving my robots... too much of the gameplay revolves around upgrading every match... lots of problems but the concept is good. 2/5
Hints: For the monkey, you can hit the bombs or the bananas back at him. For the worm, just hit the bombs back. Each groupie counts as an extra life. The 50,000 score - liftoff at 45 deg angle, do all the hold tricks for at least around 4 seconds each in a row to get a high multiplier, and pole vault like crazy when you get to the ground.
Game's absolute rubbish. Keys are very unresponsive so you can't time your blocks right. Sometimes enemies can pull off moves a million times faster than you because of this and kill you. Lots of little bugs where I get hit where I'm not supposed to or enemy dies without me hitting it. Annoying how the archers can hit you without even appearing on screen. I could go on and on.
Tip for the hard badge: Don't run away when he does his laser eye thing. Get behind him and strike. Be careful you don't get too close or the laser will hit you.
For cutthrough - two words - hotkeys and juggling. Juggle like you've never juggled before. And it's not even the hardest map, IMO. This is the definitely one of the better TD games out there. 5/5
I didn't think much of it at first when I first signed up with Kongregate. But now, I realize how incredibly well-balanced it is and how much room there is for interesting strategy against real players. So much fun. Wish I started playing sooner.
Game's rubbish. Agree with emperorerror, design is terrible if you have to restart the level to be strong enough to beat boss. The flashy attacks and techno music just distract you from the game's problems.
Yeah, I had trouble with the bourgeoisie, but then I gathered my Marxist friends and started a revolution. But seriously, it is just SWANS and not geese. I didn't realize there was a difference until someone earlier in the comments pointed it out.
