raze just hit the top5 in the ratings for shooter games, now its only a matter of time until we get badges and attention and make it even bigger on raze 2 when multiplayer is out :D
5/5 but seriously MAKE THE SHIP INDESTRUCTABLE FOR 1 SECOND AFTER LEVEL CHANGE! i had an enemy spawn into lvl 50. you can tell how ****** i feel ;) and make the aiming cursor a lot bigger or a lot more visible somehow xD
warning for everyone: unfortunately having a shield will not protect you from not getting the untouchable badge, even if you never actually lost a life :(
uhm... how to get the maniac ingame achievement? ive tried running into enemies as fast as i can and died within 10 seconds but i didnt get the badge...
there is one big negative about this game, the camera is fixxed. soo often i cant even aim on enemies being 1 planet away cause they are offscreen. it would be 9000/5 for being worms-style if it didnt have this major weakness.
@carface its a deathmatch mission, just make sure you attack enemies that are already damaged and stay full on shield and life. sniping or grenading into large crowds is also way better strategy then jumping right in. just wait for the alien campaign, if you think human campaign is hard you are either gonna cry or rage quit ^^
the one thing that really sucks is that you get 1hit killed by EVERYTHING in the late missions of the alien campaign. seriously, maps without a shield with enemies that have 5-6 times your HP? thats a bit out of balance. completing both campaigns could be an impossible badge that stands out of the impossible badges -.-
there is only ONE minor problem i have with this game, i cannot load my own mp3s. a browsing window like for email uploads would be nice, URLs wont work. Still one of the best games i know on this site, 5/5 :)
there is only ONE thing to criticize about this game, and thats how much you turn into cannon fodder in the last missions of the alien campaign. seriously, the best strategy is to stay out of the game and watch your bots win, as they have 5x higher HP then yourself. even attempting to snipe from the background is most times a death cause you die 1hit from the Railgun but the enemies need 6-7 hits. here a bit of rebalancing would be nice. but as i said. thats the only minor point.
the level reached should be a 4th highscore category. afterall the best way to a great score is leveling as slow as possible (buying all upgrades but exp and magnet first)
@juliodoido2 void eaters are merged green glooples. 2 green glooples form an oozle. oozle + green = grey (that metal tank with the lance). grey + green = void eater. but hes easy to beat. make sure he looks in your direction and when he starts to power up his sucking beam, run there and slash him down. however DO NOT approach when hes sucking in for a blast and if you are too far to get him before the gravity beam launches, RUN FOR THE HILLS :D
ok how the hell do you beat lvl 20? i mean no matter what hits me, EVERYTHING is 1 hit kill, even the basic pistol is killing me instantly if i dont have full shield? how is that medium? XD
