simplicity can be effectivity. in this case it is. would be awesome game for badges. whoever thinks getting 200 boxes isnt hard should be sentenced to playing until he/she really scores 200 boxes :D
lol! the very moment i killed a horror, a 2nd one formed from the biters it had created just behind me and kept going after me. and the 2nd one managed what the first didnt: shooting me down with a tooth. DAMN! :D
doh :( blinded by an inkie, placed the security bobble... and didnt see the grinder coming, that grinded right into a torchie. you all know what followed :(
almost perfect game, with a few minor mistakes. for example the glooples disassolved in the orange acid should be counted toward the left glooples, and also the glooples killed by others. after all the nest you are clearing doesnt instantly grow to make up for those losses does it?
harhar there are 3 "errors" in the awards. 1) the places of the killing multiple amalgam and gray badges are twisted. 2) killing 1 oozle = silver award, killing 15 = bronce award. 3) killing 1 gray = gold award, killing 5 = silver
you might wanna fix those up in a little patch, although they are just cosmetic.
your game is awesome :D too bad you said you wont be doing a third. seriously, this setting has a depth, it could be used for way more complex stories and games. imagining a tag team of 3 swordsmen and 1 gunner advancing a gloople nest in Halo-Style... sounds awesome :D
good way to win a LOT of awards: get the reward "Lure", go for a huge nest, let a clutter shoot you some times, shake off his babies, slash him... basically get a LOT of big clutterers on the field, like 6-7 and some babies too, then throw the lure. the big ones will line up to shoot it. slash them, slash their babies, 10x kill, voila. if you keep them on screen (and thereby stay stick to the maximum spawn limit) you may also be able to do the first half of a huge nest only by beating up baby clutters :)
BANG entity down, 2nd try. this time i packed the purple orbs that refill energy 100% and maxxed my deflection shield skill --> that made him pretty easy prey. takes looong to kill him but its basically autofire + cast reflection barriers + eat energy refillers
@moonlightaffairs the blue bar right next to your life bar is the "Tension Bar". it fills when your ship is directly next to flying bullets without getting hit. whenever its filled to the top, your multiplier gets 1 higher and the bar empties. also this bar can be used with the "Adaptive Weapon" Card which makes it make your weapons stronger when its full.
hope i could help.
