Ok, it's not the greatest, but even though it is similar to a lot of other games, it's works and is enjoyable. Though the collision detection may not be the best, it's at least predictable, so if you get eaten by a bigger dog it's your own fault for not seeing it coming. It's not bad, say a 3/5.
I have a terrible machine, and it doesn't lag for me. You can turn the quality down, and a lot of the difficulty depends on how lucky you are in finding weapons and people. Overall, I think it's excellent.
It definitely needs a better way of getting cards. Other than that it's really cool (oh, and the females in this game are ridiculously underdressed. It's to the point where it's bad even by normal video game standards).
