I have experienced the bug the developer claims doesn't exist on three different computers (DIY Desktop Windows 10, Surface Pro 3 Windows 10, Lenovo Y570 Windows 7) and on two broswers on each (Chrome and Firefox). I can't imagine how he can not replicate this bug unless he is only playing from his source files and not actually on Kongregate. Would give negative stars if I could.
No one claimed the bug didn't exist, simply that it wasn't replicated on our end, on multiple computers restarting multiple ways (fresh cookies, old cookies, single vs multiple restarts, etc.). Incognito mode found the bug, but a helpful dev that played the game was a big help in finding the issue. I'm pretty sure the problem is fixed now, but more testing will show for sure, yea or nay.
Thanks for playing!
Yeah, I've got 6 multi and I'd have to let this thing idle for a month to progress any further, to get the jobs or stats that the girls want now. Something has to be done about the formula you use to calculate the time for the next step up, or the affect that the multiplier has. I can't get any more multiplier without progressing, and I can't progress without more multiplier, or just leaving the game alone for so long I forget I was ever playing it.
There is something seriously wrong when I can run GTA V or BF:Hardline on their max settings at more than 60 fps but this thing lags. You really need to optimize your code or something. This is ridiculously laggy for a web game.
I think the step up to currency is too high. Everything seems to progress at a fair pace until you have everything that doesn't require currency, and then it's this long boring grind.
I wish Kongregate would start rejecting games tagged as "IDLE" when they won't run in an inactive window. If you have to have the game open, in the forground, with not so much as a screensaver in the way, it is not an idle game. I know you and some other developers have problems getting unity to continue in the background, but that does not change the fact that what you have made is not an idle game, just a very slow incremental active game. I can't sell you a go-kart and call it a car and tell you that I just had trouble making the frame and body right. You'd tell me it's not a car and I can't call it a car and you'd be right. Why do you think programming is different?
Car performance should be relabeled to car speed. Handling is part of performance, and after just a few upgrades it's harder to steer properly towards the next combo than it was at the begining.
As a whole though, the car performs better when you upgrade it. You need to learn to control through drifting to maximise your driving skills. Also I just updated version 1.003, which has "Donut Control", meaning that doing donuts will result in the donuts becoming smaller and smaller, which has an overall positive effect of the controls. It might be a little tougher to control when it's faster, but so is a sports car in real life.
For some reason it's not giving me the time based achievements. I've got every one except the last row, where I have none. It's not even possible to get most of the other achievements in under an hour.
Purchased time warp, kreds deducted, nothing happened. Thought it was a calculation delay, waited 10 minutes, nothing. Reloaded, nothing. Any suggestions?
A troublesome bug. We're looking into a fix - in the meantime, PM us your export code, and we'll restore your missing progress. Very sorry for the inconvenience!
Somethings wrong with the multipliers here. For some reason, my 301st newspaper costs nearly 100qt but my 301st Oil Company is only 16 qt? Did they somehow get flipped?
Could you provide a way to deselect an item that you have clicked on for smithing but don't want to sell or equip right now so that it's stats window doesn't keep covering the enemy window?
