Would have ranked this higher if it didn't freeze after the last fight. Also if it let you quit mid-battle so you can restart if you miss the gold trophy.
I have played literally every game on this site that's ever been given badges, and I can't remember a worse game. The story is cute and the music is fine, but the gameplay and graphics are embarassingly bad. Really not badge-worthy, especially not for insane mode--there's nothing fun about getting this badge.
Great game, true it's similar to Amorphous+, but shooting instead of swinging that huge sword is a nice twist. The 50 deaths achievement is ridiculous, and while the game is fun I wish it had more variety. I'm giving this one a 4/5.
Great game. More variation would be fun--it does get repetitive in a hurry. But still really enjoyable, and it's awesome to have an educational game up here. 5/5
Does anyone know how frequently the gold earned stat reports to Kong? I've had no problem earning the Level card, or the quest and damage badges, but I'm not being awarded the gold earned (easy) badge despite having collected far more gold than that.
Big fan of this game. Lots of the technical problems other reviewers mentioned didn't happen for me at all (lagging, trouble with pause)--some of that may have to do with their local system, not the game. I got to level 6 by going back to blue level and replaying from there, which was fun. Never felt lost or clueless. This game reminded me of Fancy Pants Adventures, but with a much more fun combat system. 5/5
Great game, a lot of fun. Would love to see more to do after the missions and challenges are done.
One bug to report: when Memory Serpent is used when it's the only card in your hand, you'll get an error message that you can't pay the card's Discard cost--but the curse will turn into a target anyway and you can still play the card.
This thing with the 170 kills is really frustrating--is there a way to get it to resave the higher kill count when you reach level 4 or 5, so you don't have to restart the game every time? Or a way to reset your save file? Otherwise I think it's a great game, with fun gameplay. Pause would be nice, as would more variety, but it's solid as is.
Boss glich definitely not fixed as of 6/16. Also, the falling blocks and the run and jump levels are way full of bugs. It's a nice idea, but this still feels like a beta version.
(By the way, I'm playing on IE because the game won't even load in Firefox for me. Not sure what that's about.)
