I agree Cyber, I seem to have been hit by a bug at the very end of my first playthrough and couldn't summon a favor... in fact I couldn't do anything but reload.

bharner, there is a spider's lair, but if you are having trouble with the spider, trade for an item that might help. kbaker, head to the favor hut in town to get a mission involving the pig 'guard'
