oh ok, looks like i didnt strike boss 3 during his weak phase and i guess boss 5 being harder makes sense; its still a slight problem that they can corner you at the bottom of the screen, but much more manageable now
Also, boss 1 and 3 actually just follow you, they are not on a direct course for the bottom. Use this to your advantage and fly to the top of the screen! They will follow. You can then circle around them for big damage
If its 3,4,6 or 7 then go ahead, otherwise having a boss that can force you away from the parts off the screen where you can hurt them from is annoying.
Fixes would be to either not allow them to get all the way to the bottom of the screen or allow us to shoot behind
The final boss does not go all the way to the end of the screen. You can damage him at all times. Level 1 boss is pretty easy and does not hang out in the bottom long. Boss 3 retreats back to the top of the screen every 1.5 to 3 seconds so there is plenty of time to hit him. Not being able to always damage the boss is part of their defense. You must dodge bullets and wait till they come back up, which never last more than 3 seconds. Other enemies are suppose to spawn during bosses in endless mode. It is not designed for 1 on 1 fights. Maybe focus on small enemies while you wait for them to come back up?? Thanks for playing all the way through. You put up a really nice score too!! :)
I see I am getting downvoted with no explanation; I can imagine the following reasons:
1. Boss 3 and 5 arent actually too hard and boss 4 being easy doesnt really hurt you
2. spamming attack roll usually knocks them back enough (i found that they dont flinch some of the time though)
3. its an issue with my build. I only use crossbow and attack roll(up) for dmg (I find it hard to imagine that other builds fare better against it though)
4. people dont mind that pathing issues lead to temporarily invincible bosses
5. They didn't get to the part where it becomes more problematic (double bosses in endless mode; take too long to kill them and more enemies spawn, I even had a triple boss at some point before i upgraded attack roll some more)
6. It's because of my positioning (However i felt them approaching to the bottom of the screen with about the same speed no matter how far I stood from them)
7. other
boss 3 and 5 are harder than necessary, mostly because they have much more health and like to hug the bottom of the screen where you cant hit them but they can hit you, to a lesser degree this also applies to boss 1 but that one goes down easy; meanwhile boss 4 is the easiest of them in every way
