Not too shabby. I rather like the escape genre and this is one of the better ones I've played. It was simple, but everything worked. I didn't need to do anything bizarre or click at random to finish it. The puzzles on some locks was a nice touch. Good job.
YES! These games need to make a comeback! I miss them so much. Monkey Island, Broken Sword, Discworld, Leisure Suit Larry, MYST.. wait, scratch that one... and everything else made in scumm! Great job! The humor and wit were there without being overly corny. It had all the elements of a good point and click adventure.
Some tips for the third! Some buildings only go one way. You build it and it is locked in stone. How about materials? Higher level builders use less and gain more from tearing down! Scavengers can find building materials. Buildings have to be manned! Schools need a teacher that will train other units 10% of their exp of so. Binoculars letting the player see the number of zombies in an area. Gas stations producing fire bombs to use on an area to reduce zed in that square. one time use traps for added defense against the next zed raid. Building damage to reduce effectiveness of area. Towers that when taken auto scout areas next to it. More lab upgrades! Upgrade time reduced based on person upgrading it. Soldiers for faster weapons and traps, builders for efficiency skills, etc. Just some food for thought. Love this series. I'm your biggest fan.
So much you could have done with the pumpkins. One randomly falling in catch a snail... one popping up in whack a seal... popping up on the target range... showing up in equations... Maybe give all this thought for Christmas, then Easter!
I love when you get "in the zone" and effortlessly glide through everything. Only thing I did not like were the sharp turns. At high speeds, these can be 100% fatal.
In the coin game, you usually lose your 1k bet AND the number X die when you fail. However, you can roll the second dice first. If it lands on lose, just go somewhere else. You'll lose 1k still, but you won't have to roll the number dice for additional money loss.
This game needed to be in parts. I like the addition of new skills and the respec each time. Prevents the game from getting too boring from repetition and slowly gets us used to certain abilities and status effects. I would like to see it all come together one day, though.
Thank you!
