It needs an Auto-Craft next tier gems. It would save a lot of time. But still 5/5
The recent update has added a "fuse all gems" button to the inventory screen that more-or-less achieves this. Thanks for the feedback!

An idea for improvement: equipment and arena where you can put your gladiators up for fights to the death. If you win, you get XP and opponents equipment, if you lose your gladiator dies and you lose all his equipment.
