Not a bad game, but most of the reason why I stuck with it was to see just what the warp core did. Mastering the last boss got unfun pretty quick, but I stuck with it to see what the core did. When I beat it and found out I only get to see what the core does after I beat everything in the game I no longer cared what it did.
Dear Developer person:
There is a fix for the auto pause flash thingie. The details are in another idle game, Grindcraft. Perhaps you can add a very inexpensive map that will take them to a location detailing how to disable the feature.
Great game, I only have one piece of constructive criticism. Picking up a gun that slows you down, or one that is rather long, is often a really bad idea unless you call in the support helicopter first. Reason being is that with many guns it is impossible to kill a zombie that has already gotten within range to attack. I find myself mostly ignoring the level 20 gun because of this.
That said, I picked up Gears 3 today and spent about as much time playing it as this. Would consider that a neat accomplishment Mister Dev.
All three profiles lost. In my book that is a game breaking bug, as I was only about half way through and I have no intention of starting over. 1/5.
Hopefully the full release won't have this problem, as without such a bug even the bata would be a 4/5 in my book.
I really like it. Wish it was longer because it is so fun :). Only bad things about it is you are unable to hit some units if they spawn too low, and it gets pretty easy once you get two spells.
Great game ruined by spikes. Without spikes this would be a 5/5. With them it is kinda meh. I think my only other problem is the fact that up isn't jump.
This isn't really a game so much as a mission that probably should be part of a larger game. Also has an annoying bug where things do not die when shot. Short and buggy is a bad combo, even when it looks and sounds neat.
Very nice, there are a lot of games that have won prize money that were not nearly as fun as this. For a first attempt it is outstanding. Mostly you just need content upgrades, more of what you already have. Continue to work on it and you will be at the top of the weekly rankings in no time.
Oh, and autofire please ^-^. My finger hurts after ten levels.
Well I found a really annoying glitch. After spending fifteen minutes taking down the huge mega base on stage 13, the blue base that spawned got killed in a massive lag attack by the red units left without so much as firing one shot or spawning one unit. 1/5 until fixed.
The problem, other then the lack of quality control, is that the game's only viable strategy makes it simplistic to the point of tediousness. You only have one real enemy, a turret on the end of a stick, and you shoot it until you get bored. The entire rest of the game plays it's self and only serves to generate lag. All the other units could have been removed and it would pretty much be the same game, only less lagy.
This game is five star graphics with two star game play.
I actually did the 'no nuke missile challenge' just now. Build was 5 bunkers, 3 missile defenses, and the rest ion turrets. It cut through everything but the last two stages rather easy. Finished with 4k million population. I actually scored slightly higher then my missile build. Missiles all track the same target, which kind of gimps their killing power. They are still better against shielded waves, but not that much stronger. The key is still building lots of econ early. Can't beat Armageddon without researching econ early. Do that, and it is a cake walk.
Great game. Lots of towers. It is hard. You unlock stuff. Creative way of handling defeat. I like that you do not have lives, you instead have to kill more and more creeps per level. Thats pretty clever. Do not mind all the people flaming your game. They are likely didn't even bother to play the game long enough to figure out how to unlock stuff. For a first game this is amazing. Can not see what you put out after a year of experience.
Better now that they fixed the bugs. Cleared it, ranked third in score. Its not really hard, mostly there is just one build path to, trick is finding it. Not a really good game, but a pretty good first try. Never seen a twitch tower defense game, kind of unique.
I actually went back and counted. The first wave has 17 air monsters. By the time the ninth monster is out, meaning the wave is only half over, the second wave is starting. Both waves come together, and by the time the last monster from the first wave is out, the third wave is starting, and the first monster from the third wave comes out with the last monster from the first wave. Thats just weird, has to be a glitch or something.
After several tries I cleared the first level. Seems to me like a twitch game, just slap down as many towers as you can randomly and forget about them. If the glam isn't gliched to run at super speed then I do not get it. Before most of the first wave is out the second is already comming.
Good little game, but the energy system needs balance bad. One five star gum ball gun needs ten five star power plants to keep it in action. Given how much space ten power plants takes up, it is impossible to have two five star gum ball guns.
I am sitting here with $16,000 wishing I could build more stuff, but my map is two towers and a bunch of power plants. No room for more power plants, and if I build another tower it will have no juice.
If you could PM me with a bit more info that would be awesome :D
