Hmmm, just so's you know, one of the updates in the last... week or two? Made old saves unusable - they load, but there's nothing available to click on, you can't move the ship, etc. Not a hugely big deal, but still.
Yes, the asteroids seem to drain too rapidly now. That being said, I'm not sure if this is intentional, but there's no penalty for buying/selling, and you can exploit price modifiers for ANY good. I'm getting (relatively) rich just selling light repair drones in the starting system, bouncing between two stations with a .5X price differential. Overall, incredible game though, but mining seems fairly pointless compared to much more rapid trading just now.
Yeah... so the save game occasionally, apparently, forgets the research upgrades you spent blops on. But it sure as heck remembers that the blops were spent. That's a rather breaking bug, especially considering both how grindy the game is, and that you want people to pay real money for blops.
Indeed. Further tips for survival boss: go for skills with long animation over damage skills. Letting your skills recharge (especially moon blade) is way more important than dealing just a bit of extra damage.
That being said: is the katana kill trophy glitched? I tried killing the first boss with just the katana slash set, just katana slash 1, just handsome blade, etc, and it won't open. I tried using just katana/handsome blade on a boss I hadn't beaten yet, and it still wouldn't click. Not a big deal, but possible glitch?
Wow, first launch game I've ever played where it was EASY to get the time achievement. I accidentally unequipped my new-bought stuff for the first, uh, 5 days, and still got to Mars on day 15. Kind of nice to have a time-based one that doesn't penalize you for not playing almost perfectly the whole way.
Hmmm. I'm used to chain reaction having somewhat faster balls, somewhat slower explosions and, more importantly, score that increases exponentially as balls hit explosions further from the first. This model is more luck based - approximately no strategy, and the difference between min and max scores is very small indeed. Alas, at least with no replay value, there's no need to replay it?
yeah.... dragon would be more doable if shield wasn't a coward, and sword wasn't suicidal. If there's not going to be a pause function, and the game is going to require you to do two things at once, the AI really ought to, at the very least, not default to the WORST possible behavior.
For those interested, the first badge in the second tier of the lower level career badges is 'won all maps with a rank of 10 or more' (ie: 5 starred them all). I assume the other badges in that tier have to do with accomplishments across all maps. Anyone know what they are?
