Going through all berserk games and getting all the achievements. Realised. This one definately needs a sequel with a multiplayer option or so :D
+ more skills would be awesome
and as always. Awesome job on the theme music ^^
After finishing the game on all endings and then reading the theories about all the subtext's I wanted to say a few things.
This game very well represents how our consiusness works. We view things, that other see as dangerous as cute perhaps, sometimes needed, things that kinda makes us happy.
It's not just about self-mutilation. Not just about suicide. Not just about drugs. Not even about ditching a girl that you know you don't love no more. It's something different for everyone, who see's their life reflected a bit upon in this game. As for me I saw all of that, since been there done that :D
Awesome game, with a few minor things that I personally didn't like
you should either have a higher maximum level or have some extra special features that you can do with the spare exp.
like buying upgrades or special skills for weapons
P.S. This might be the closest thing to a TRIGUN game :D
great game, but a few slight things you should consider.
- Needs an option so that you could turn off sound fx/music WHILE IN COMBAT
- needs a click on minimap cahnges the part you view.
+ I also liked the idea which was mentioned in one of the comments previously (too lazy to find which one since I'm quite sleepy), bout an option to charge past the enemy
good game.
there was only one thing bugging me.
if you give a weapon an upgrade make sure it is actually worth it.
when I upgraded my boomstick (the last wep) i regretted it cause it was way more effective when you shoot and reload, shoot and reload. Now I could shoot 3 bullets, but it took way longer to reload...
The idea is good, but just as other people said it lacks playability. Another thing which I would like to add is that maybe you should make two modes of the game. Like hard and normal where in the normal one you can only see the pixels you actually reach!!!
humorous but one thing...
FREEWARE games are good.
Sorry if it seems angry or anything, but i really got the impression that you were trying to say
Freeware games s*ck
no offense, but there are thousands of great freeware games and there should be and will be more.
Well I don't know as for whom which option seemed. For me it was following.
When you follow what you're said it's easier to find order, but at the same time it's nothing, but a boring routine. When you disobey everything it's chaos within your life and it's hard to make out what should you do next or where to go. When you have managed to balance your life you can both easily find order and manage to do what you need to and it also gives you a chance to see more possibilities that you wouldnt notice otherwise. (The idea about more possibilities came to at the point where you have to jump upwards. I didnt think that those small thin... oh how should I call them... "ladders" would hold me properly and then by jumping around I accidentaly landed on a green square and I continued my way up by jumping on colorful squares)
