not sure if it's my browser, but trying to play that endless tower thing is completely impossible--by about wave 6 the amount of mobs and spell effects onscreen lags everything badly, and i start being unable to switch runes, or even to fcking attack
Not sure if it's related to a medium/large student population or endgame anything, but I get a *lot* of game freezes now when I'm trying to promote my level 30 students to their second jobs.
Can we get a way to open all the wood/metal bundles at once? It's getting annoying now with the massive amounts of bundles the Fuzzlehorn gives out, haha.
I think it's a fun game on its own, but perhaps people wouldn't call it a demo so much if you didn't have ads for the mobile game popping up every few levels.
I'm not sure if this is an oversight or intentional to up the difficulty level, but on floors with large monsters like bosses the zoom makes the characters really tiny and hard to click/drag. Potting and switching characters is quite the pain in the ass, and often I can't see the tiny sprites clearly enough to tell which char is which.
An adorable little game, if too easy. For some reason I found the game's response to keypresses to be a little sluggish. Also, when the wrong word error message comes up, it eats the first letter of the next word I try to type.
This is a lovely little game indeed. I like the concept a lot, and the way some of the areas had their own little subplot going. The only part where I felt the game was lacking was that the endings--all the endings, of the main plot as well as each chapter's sub-plot--felt rushed, like you'd gone the trouble to set up all these interesting bits and characters only to just... drop them, at the end.
I agree completely. I have a TODO list, and I swear that there is an item there about gender selection. However, since the game is story based and some of it is based upon the character being a guy, adding a female gender will require A LOT of content update. As with every game made, if this game is successful, we will get to actually do the items in our TODO list...
Oh, I'm definitely looking forward to sequels, if I read that ending correctly. Personally I'd wish for more attention to be paid to the writing: the opening/ending is kind of nonexistent, and some of the text had a bit of a babelfish feel to it. But this is a very promising start indeed--it should be interesting to see what you come up with next.
Looks like it has potential, but rather unfinished still. (Except for the art. Art looks awesome :p.) I gotta say, though, unless the plot and dialogue is going to improve dramatically in the second half of the game I think you guys'd be better off taking it all out. It doesn't really contribute to the game. Also, this game needs a proof-reader.a
in the options menu (wrench icon) you can try to disable the effects and shadows. hope that helps. (also, buy lots of pots)
