Another bug: on top of the lighthouse I used a Rawl to with the book. After I discovered that the Rawl (a green one) received a new mutation I reloaded the game to get a better Rawl (I usually sacrifice the green ones for actions), but then not only the book action had disappeared, but tha Rawl did not have the new mutation anymore.
Found a bug: the My Dudes page don't scroll down to the bottom of the list: it stops scrolling at the 7th row (the dudes in the 8th row can still be selected but they are almost completely below the box). I have more than 32 dudes, but I can't select the last ones.
Sometimes, if I reload, the bug disappears for a while, but it reappears after a few battles.
PART 2- The student sorting system is useless: now I can only see 4 students at the same time, only half of the old game. To find the ones I need for a quest, I have to scroll all of them (it's hard doing it with 20 students, I can't imagine doing it with 40 or more). Please reduce the size of the info selection bars (the ones on the left) to the little image of the student with name on top and class and level on bottom, so we can see at least 16 of them at the same time. And please add the option to hide (or highlight) specific classes, so I can find the student I need in few seconds. Finally, during tactical missions, students simply charge at the enemy. There is no tactic at all. You need to add an option to chose students' behavior between ACTIVE (attack mode) and PASSIVE (follow the leader and ignore opponents), so we can order a tactical retreat. To sum up: the concept is good, but you need to make a lot of changes to make this game playable.
PART 1 - I really loved the first one, but I have to say that this sequel is a disappointing step down. I can't even consider this a complete game, but only a rushed beta. Even not considering lagging, crashes, and bugs, there are huge conceptual flaws. As others already stated, there are no info about mission difficulty, and Jeanne advices are often plain wrong. You need to solve this issue ASAP. I understand your idea of a "real time" management game, but it's not realistic. It can work with 8, maybe even with 12 students, but if you have more, there are simply too many things to take care and too few time to do all of them properly. Now it is not a "real time" management game: it is a "race against time" game. There is the absolute need of a ACTIVE PAUSE that allow the player to think about what to do at his/her own pace.
@LAN14N: Please, try to understand that a the player is not rewarder for his efforts, then he will lose interest in the game. I looked for 2 weeks for Full Armor and some Sapphires but I did not find any. I played mercenary defense at least 30 times (11 minutes each!), grinded the last dungeons, but no luck. So please, think again about my past suggestion: if you don't want to increase the drop rate of super-rare items, then allow us to alchemy them. 100Topaz+100Aquamarine=1Sapphire; 2Sapphire=1Ruby. Fully upgraded basic items for rare items (full armor, circlets and so on). The cost will be astronomical in terms of grinding and stealing, but at least the player will know that it's efforts will be rewarded in the end, and so keep playing. Now it's pure luck, and this is not good: it’s frustrating.
@Maz_man: Regen is awesome! But you have to cast it with a character with high MAG. Regen + Quicken all + Slow and you can heal all damage dealt by bosses before their next action. Poison is useful too, cause it keep damaging the boss while you are busy buffing of nerfing.
I tested the snowman. On normal mode i could steal something (don't remember what) and it dropped an awesome Start Agility. On Hard, nothing to steal and 5 basic grenades. Stealable items and drops seem VERY random.
Just double-checked: I stole 1 MAG flask form Zombie King 2nd form, but still nothing from Mummy King (either form). So, it works, but I'm not sure if it's worth the effort.
Just checked Bat King and Mummy King on hard dungeons: still "nothing to steal". Also, there should be a way to see respawned bosses on the main map, cause I don't remember the location of all of them. Just changing the color of the "dot" of the areas (orange?) should be enough.
This game is simply awesome.
There is only one feature that I really don't like: some drops are relly too rare. I found only 1 Full Armor and 1 Sapphire among the rearest of them. I raided the Desert at least 10 times to find the circlet, but still no luck. Grinding for a slim hope is definetly not entertaining.
Why don't you reward 1 sapphire or 1 ruby for hard quests (like the last ones), or allow the player to forge complex items (circlet, full armor, last all, gems, etc.) from lv3 maxed basic objects. Like: 1 Helm III Lv11 + 1 Shield III lv11 (maybe add also basic armor) = 1 Full Armor I lv1 . Or, 5 charms lv 5 (same element) = 1 gem. Or 1 Gauntlet III Lv11 + 1 Amulet III Lv11 + 1 Boots III Lv 11 = 1 Circlet I lv 1. This would not require sapphires, but will still be extremely expensive. Or, if you add sapphires and rubies as rewards for some quest, you could also require fully maxed objects as reagents.
You chose, but please change this feature.
Feed game. I'd really like for the newly hatched minions to start at lv1 or at least 1/2 of my minions' average level, so I'm forced to rotate them and I can see some not-evolved. However, I don't like the specials during battle, and I don't understand how experience works.
Oregano? Rosemary? Bacon? Cherry Tomatoes?
I think I don't even have to say that the recipe is totally wrong. Where did you get it? In a show for kids?
Ok, just to point it out: "Spaghetti alla bolognese" do not exist. It's "tagliatelle alla bolognese"."Spaghetti alla bolognese" is a bullshit invented in the U.S.. By the way: I'm italian and I'm from Bologna, and I really know how to cook "tagliatelle al ragù" (the real name).
You don't believe me? Go to Bologna and try to ask for "spaghetti alla bolognese" in a traditionali restaturant, and you'll see how much everyone will laugh at you.
600 areas (the "don't follow me" mission lv6). Are you crazy? It's already 1hour for every 100 areas even if you use every trick to skip fights (not considering that the more you advance, the more every fight takes). This mission will require at least 6 consecutive hours!!!
thanks for the bug reports. i'll look into these when i get home tonight!
