I definitely have a ton of suggestions for the UI. For example, maybe put the EXP gain in a different area of the item box than the stat, and show somewhere that you gain the EXP gain whether the item is equipped or not, but you only get the stats when it is equipped.
I can think about a BUNCH more card effects with you if you wanted to expand your card reportoire. I'm not really good at art, but I love the ins and outs of balancing and testing games if you want any help!

I love the game! The only issue I have is the Melvin story. The f***ing character is just "godmodding" the game by moving your characters into areas he creates, while being immune to any ground impairments himself. It gets very annoying, even when you're at level, when the whole ground is covered in armor destroying acid and stone spikes, and when you try to move off (the only defense against losing all of your health AND armors), he just puts you right back on. What the hell is that? Really?
Scriptwelder, very awesome game! The only thing that disappoints me is that there is only one "level*". The concept is very well made, and I enjoyed trying to uncover all of the ruins!
*I would prefer if there were many different levels, with many different countries and continents to explore. And I saw your response to Fritz_b that stated this is based on a real life excavation... Well, if it makes your game more popular, what is stopping you from adding so much more? This is definitely a 5 star game if only it had more levels, and possibly more customization.
Also, you need to be more open about sleeping hives. There's nothing that says they get harder each hit, and that screwed me out of a win that I had because I thought they were just all the same when they came out. Very disappointed on that.
What I hate is that if you REALLY want to complete a level, you have to keep restarting it until you get the slowest 1st and 2nd wave as possible, otherwise your gems aren't going to hit more than once. And the damage varies so much that it could do 10 damage twice, at that point you're screwed.
Pressing left and right arrows? This is for a hard badge? PFF I got this...
Okay, add in the up and down arrows? Lol I can do this in my sleep. I got this badge in the bag.
Use shift to jump? Hmm... Still got this shit. Too easy.

They really should remove energy from this game. It is totally pointless and it just makes people pissed off when they have to use WB to get it back or wait almost 2 hours to get full energy. IMO energy alone makes this game rated 3/5. Without it I would give it a 5/5.
