Wow...I just reached the match with Isis. I quit your stupid game. A god power that gives 100 mana every 3 turns? It spits out 4 and 5 star cards like their 1-2 stars with low mana costs. I have all lvl 10+ cards, the highest caliber of which is 3 star. You can't even compete, unless, oh wait, you pay for success. So, yeah, choke on your money. This is a waste of time for all free players.
Ugh, I'm sorry but until there's an option for selecting and moving multiple units at the same time this game is unplayable. There's no why to make units focus fire except one at a time making groups of priests all but invincible.
The start of the game is very counter-intuitive. You head in assuming the first battles will be "tutorial" in nature, the truth is, the last couple require you to do "hunt" events to level up first. Sadly no mention of hunt events are made.
Wow...not sure is this has been mentioned already, but the "defensive" units i.e. the roman ones, can dish out a whole BUNCH more damage than the "attack" based barbarian style ones.
Why? Inspire trait. Massively overpowered.
5/5 I really dislike 90% of PnCs out there because they turn into hair pulling guessing games to figure out what you missed, till you give up, go to the walkthrough and feel stupid because it was something totally random and non-intuitive, but you still feel you should have figured it out.
This one was so well designed, and the art was so fantastic that I had no issue figuring everything out start to finish.
Being that I voted in anger the first time, I slapped myself on the wrist and tried one more time. Only once more. The universe is a strange and ironic place, as my final run was perfect for 2 minutes, full of masterful suspense, and my final run. I finished the game and gave it's proper rating. 5/5
Sadly I can only give the game a 3/5. namely because once I realized I had to get all the achievements to get the ending, even that stupid 2 minute flawless run, I became pretty mad. Every time I get close the game will throw some random crap at me I can't possibly dodge in time and "well there's another wasted run."
That coupled with the fact I HAVE to get the achievement in a RANDOM environment pisses me off. So I appreciate the game, the concept and the effort you put into it, but that aspect, the fact I will NEVER get the ending just ruins it completely for me.
4/5, holding off on actually rating though. Love the entire last Stand series, this tops it. But as others point out, this game is going to go the way of Delay Death. Wherein, your wait times become SO long, people start playing OTHER games to fill in the time gaps.
Do not underestimate the ability of this to kill a game following. Deal with it NOW. Before anything else short of major crash bugs. Because at the moment it's more fun and profitable to sack the same territory over and over every 24 hrs, with 5 minute runs. However, without progression, it's a short jump to boredom.
Great game, many improvements over Pet Protector 2 but as always the "rest" system is very stressful. I'm sorry, if I worked for a month and then took a month off, I'd get fired. Also the gold payments for rest areas is weird, who is charging you to rest in some far flung location away from the village? So yeah, only major complain is the rest system.
Sorry, but i had to give the game a 2/5, down from a 5/5. I Started, loved the idea, loved the mechanics, etc. Then I kept playing....and playing....and playing....meeting each new challenge with increasing frustration and repeats...when I got to the spiked rotators in the reversed field, I threw up my hands and said "screw this, it's not FUN, anymore." And it wasn't, so you get a 2/5, not cause the game concept sucked, but because it went on too long, and the difficulty went past the threshold of amusement.
I was enjoying the game immensely...and then, while trying to switch a prawn turret to a drone...while on the LAST guy of the level...I hit to restart button. There was no confirmation dialogue, no warning, just 15 minutes of progress, gone. Not playing again till this is adjusted. otherwise nice game.
I'd LOVE to give this 5/5, but I can't. The game was great then I hit Uptown, got swarmed, away from my companion, died, and lost my companion, so the game becamse totally unplayable. That's it, Game over because of one error, because it's too hard without a companion. Before I can give this 5/5, this needs to be fixed.
trust me, I handled random properly (delays). fully upgraded, I can usually get at least 120s flawless.
