@MiodragV3 maybe build a laboratory? guys, i mean, it's not complicated this game, there is a simple tutorial and when nothing seems to happen, experiment a little
@christopheboulay plastic is not a resource... it's produced by oil (and material science 7 or 8). The Antirion modifier is a production modifier (all the green one), that means the production of plastic by oil made on antirion is double than the other planets
@Markydesade well, probably at first you can have only conquer Antirion. They have 3 different fleet. I don't remember which was my fleet, but a couple of hundreds fighters of both type (ark-22 and ark55) will be probably sufficient to win. After every battle, anyway, you can reinforce your fleet. After Antirion, The city is the next target (some post beyond someone posted its fleet composition). New Babilo is not meant to be conquered (at least not for now). After Antirion and The city, Lagea is the easiest target and it has oil (which produce plastic and at that point you will notice plastic is never enough). Also my suggestion, use every single drop of oil to produce plastic, at least until you conquer Lagea and/or Tataridu, so dismantle any oil refinery you have (if you have built them)
@TrueWalter86 ammo are needed to build some stronger ships (and you need to upgrade your shipyard to unlock them). Further, if you load ammo in your fleet this will increase the total power of the fleet. If i remember correctly, every 1000 ammo loaded guarantee +0.1% power
--- cont. about the cluster of ships: let's say i have 2 clusters, the first with 1M armor and 1M HP and the second with 10M armor and 10M HP. And let's say the enemy ship deal 10M damage. From your formula, 9M damages go to the first and 1M to the second. The first will take (dam-armor=) 8M damage and it will totally destroyed. But to be destroyed, it's needed only 1M damage, what happens to the remaining 7M damage? this damage is lost (for that round) or goes to the other cluster?
i have some question about battle (again): if i remember correctly 1k ammo give 0,1% power when loaded on the combat fleet. This bonus is applied to every ship? And is applied for the whole battle? what happens if i lose the storage capacity during the battle? (i.e. 1M storage with 1M ammo, first turn i lose 100k storage, i will consider for the second turn still 1M ammo or 900k ammo?) --- cont.
Ammunition is totally consumed after each battle (but not during). And they affect the total fleet power, so you can put cargos in your fleet to boost it (this will probably change since I see too much overpower)
200B HP seems too much to be taken. In all my calc the only way to win is a mono-type fleet, but that means 2001 Sky dragon or 5001 Foxar or 20001 Ark-55 or 33335 Ark-22 (and it will requires thousands of turns of fighting). I need days to produce that kind of resources to build any of this combo
@camelbx how many ships did you need to win New Babilo?
@kallekofot i used around 170 Foxar + hundreds of cargos and colonials, but now cargos and colonials have only 1 and 2 hp, so i don't think that strategy could work anymore
@cheslava can you write again what is the formula for the attack? if i recall correctly should be [dmg*(1-%armor)/(n_clusters)-armor] where n_cluster is number of cluster. I'm trying to calculate the most efficient fleet to win against New Babilo (without lose to many ships)
@Eric5101 i suppose the idea is not produce everything everywhere. For example i don't have Foundries on Vassilis, i import steal there from Promision. Anyway, you will find graphite on Antirion (the pirate nest) and on The city. Also i really suggest you to use oil mostly on plastic production (when you research it). Because you will need a lot of plastic to buy stronger ship, to produce circuit (also to produce stronger ship) and to upgrade some buildings
@Eric5101 Vassilis doesn't produce graphite. Every planet produce a different set of resources. You can check it when you click map tab, then the planet, on the left part there is a list of all the resources that planet produces (with production modifier, so x2.00 will produce two times than basic, x0.5 will produce half than basic)
@jokokoe automated travel between 2 planets is implemented: you can select it from the right menu "automatic route" or clicking on the fleet the arrow with the "A"
@cheslava also, i would suggest you to write in the description of the game that there is a tutorial clicking the T. I think most of the new players don't realize that. In this way, we will see less "common" question on the comments (like how to get plastic/titanium/advanced ships)
@cheslava i'm not sure if it's already implemented (maybe for higher research or different kind of planets), but have you considered implementing an Ice Melter building? i mean, i can produce a very high amount of ice and i don't have any use of it. While i suppose i will need it, meanwhile i will like to use it to produce water
