This game has a nasty way of "rolling over" on anyone who has spent money on it. If you spend Planet Coins on equipment, you can bet next week's payware armor will render your set completely obsolete.
I miss the old days when armor that only had 200 ATK/DEF stats (and no special bonuses, just some lore text). That's when I loved this game, when we were just the Dragonrider, going around saving West Kruna from the Beastmen.
I feel like in many ways, this game has "lost its touch." I started playing when the story went as far as the zone with the 5 dragons (Plus the Dahrizon area). Back then, the most powerful payware equipment had 200 ATK/DEF. The story was easier to follow, and the hardest Raid was the Dragon's Lair because of its short span of time for completion. Nowadays, the story is clunky and confusing, Anyone who pays payware equipment does so knowing the next round of equipment will make theirs obsolete, and no one summons raids that are low-level friendly anymore. All the additions since when I started playing have taken a toll on the servers too - there was virtually no loading time a few years ago, and currently I can't even get everything to load properly.
Originally only came here just to get the badge for the double points of the day, but ended up staying long after getting the badge because it was so much fun.
Quick tip: When you begin using shuttle reactors, it's actually best to upgrade your first one multiple times rather than trying to by several immediately. The added weight of extra reactors will actually slow you down and won't significantly improve your altitude, while a reactor that's been upgraded several times will.
So I positioned one of my jaywalkers in between the traffic lanes so they couldn't be hit, and what do you know - someone started changing lanes to hit me!
