While I, too, sometimes teleport through walls when trying to go through certain doorways off-center, I found this game quite fun regardless. The puzzles have a nice difficulty curve, the new mechanics are introduced clearly and often enough to keep things interesting.
The thing I really love about this series is that there are moments of high tension where you have to fight for your life, but not one of them is a quicktime event. 5 stars for how well those are handled!
Oddly enough, my second thought on entering the piano room (after "What happens when I click the piano?") was "Why is there a wrinkle in the carpet?" and I promptly checked for a key or something under it.
Short and sweet! My only suggestion would be to add a message or illustration when you beat the last level, since it would feel less abrupt with that closure. (I'd love to see, for example, an alien farmer petting a beast for a job well done.)
I love it otherwise. The mechanics are clever, well-implemented, and just the right level of challenge to figure out. The art is cute and cohesive, too!
How do you manipulate the faces puzzle? I have collected and placed all the faces, but all I can do is rotate the central ring and click each face to highlight it. I cannot deselect a face once highlighted, but highlighting doesn't seem to have any effects.
Good game overall, but one major complaint: the fuse box puzzle doesn't reset, so if you mess with the dials before working out the solution (or, like me, interpret the rotation instructions as "relative to the first diagram" rather than "relative to initial position") and you didn't memorize the initial position, then the only way to solve it is brute force trial.
Is anyone else having a problem with their highscores being recorded incorrectly, or is it just due to my slow Internet connection? My score is currently showing "7" after I've beaten all 21 levels.
We decided to avoid any QTE, to focus on the story. We're really glad you liked our choice! <3 Thank you, have a glorious life and keep having fun!
