its a really cool mix of turn-based and timing. my brain kept reverting to platformer mode when i need it to be in turn-based mode. really tricky but i like it!
for people stuck on level 34, you dont have to pass each arrow individually. instead try passing all the arrows with the first ball at a slowish pace. then make the big ball follow you at the exact same pace
For Chuck Norris mode, why not make it so that the colors are easily distinguishable, but each number is randomly assigned a color at the beginning of each game? So green doesn't always have to represent 1, yellow doesn't have to always be 2, red doesn't have to always be 3, etc. (This is how I initially assumed it worked until I read the description and restarted it a few times.) So for example we have to infer that green represents 1 because maybe there is a green tile associated with a corner gray tile, and once we know that green is 1 we can use this fact along with other clues to figure out, say, pink is 2. This would make it a little bit more of a logic challenge and far less of a eyesight challenge.
It's a really cool idea for minesweeper to help eliminate the need for guessing. I want to give it 5 stars for the idea, but I can only give it 4 because it is too hard to distinguish the colors on Chuck Norris mode, and that kind of challenge isn't fun like a logic challenge.
I don't understand why you want the challenge for Chuck Norris to be a test of your ability to distinguish colors more than a challenge to test your logic skills...?
I can't pass the level that is all underwater and I only have 5 seconds to get all 4 leaves and get to the exit. I can't even really come close to passing it :\
This series of games is so beautiful. I love the artwork, the music, the attention to detail, and certainly the story. It is all so incredibly well done.
A couple of final thoughts: I wish the person walking around in the inn of The Dark Market (or anyone, really) gave us an explanation on which elements are weak against which elements, instead of only telling us that nature was weak against fire. Also, I don't know if this was intentional or not, but when I equip Atayu with any shield that is higher level than Challengers (e.g. a Crusader Small/Large Shield or an Encanted Emerald Small/Magical Shield), his Shield Bash and Shield Charge skills disappear. Because I wanted to keep using his Shield Bash and Charge, I had to keep Atayu equipped with a Challengers Large Shield when I could have upgraded it.
It was really unclear to me that I needed to have Zackon in my party in order to access the gate to the Nature Realm. After completing Oshora Island, I was stuck for a long time wandering around not knowing what to do until I read the comments. The guy blocking the gate says I need to find a "Guardian with Nature Dust," and I had no idea Zackon was a Guardian. When you enter his tent, it is labeled "Mercenary Hut," so I assumed he was just a mercenary who happened to have nature as his element. And when you talk to him, he says he is a "Nature Warrior." Another point of confusion is the "Nature Dust" - I thought I needed to find an item called "Nature Dust" before I could get to the gate. But if the tent name was "Guardian's Tent," or if Zackon said himself he was a "Nature Guardian," OR if the guy blocking the gate said I need to find a "Nature Warrior," that would have helped a lot.
"Strong Wisdom Rune (A)" can only be applied to weapons - it cannot be applied to armor. I have both "Strong Wisdom Rune (A)" and "Strong Wisdom Rune (W)" available to apply to a weapon. I have no Strong Wisdom Rune at all available to apply to an armor.
I wrote down a lot notes, when really I only needed the info in the Brigham-Smith Note. I didn't even use my own notes. I was able to guess the passcode to the storage locker by trial and error using the knowledge that it was a birthday (month and day), and by guessing that the first digit was more likely to be 1, I came across the solution pretty quickly. I never figured out how to open any of the doors in the school. As for the story, I really like it. My guess is that the victims were onto something that the someone in the government didn't like, and someone was hired to kill them. Looking forward to chapter 2 :)
I wish I knew how many endings there are, which you could put in the description. But also I wish there was an ending count that showed how many endings I've gotten out of the total number of endings.
Thank you for the suggestion! I'll keep that info in mind for later games!
