the way i would do it is have him block with the down arrow and if you press left or right while blocking, he evades, as opposed to just doing it after getting hit

i like the presentation of this game. the sound effects make it satisfying to collect things because of the sounds coins make when you collect them.
also the mouse controls are great. i wish more sidescrolling games and games in general would utilize this mechanic.
what it could use is some depth. give the turtle a weapon or something. what you could do is make him jump and duck with the mouse and have the attack be the mouse click.
not much replay value, but nevertheless a good game.
this is exactly the kind of game i was waiting for. variety of gameplay, almost like minigames, but with a constant story. imagine something like this on wii.
the presentation here is stellar.... the music and art are breathtaking.
everytime the triachnid screams i physically feel it. any game that can make you connect with its character like that is worth making mention of.
however, i do share the concern many others here have of it being just way too confusing. you never know what you can grab, what hurts you and the like.
but the physics are out of this world. amazing job!
