I'm glad other people are already calling you on this, but I'm going to add my voice in too. MAYBE you simply misunderstood, but it's still lame. What possible reason could you have for uploading someone else's game? Especially to a site where it is already uploaded! It's pointless and rude, don't try to profit off of other people's work...Flagged and 1/5. Make your own game and upload THAT.
Alright, how do you get negative accuracy?! Furthermore: ?!?!?!!!! Heh, that's hilarious. Brilliant game, though, and very innovative. 5/5 (Please fix negative percentages, though. ^_^)
Godlike Invertebrate Badge! :D First try, that went on for way too long. I like the game, but it's incredibly repetitive. Glad I got all the badges and can move on. Good game, though. 4/5
@theshow720: I'm very new to all this myself, but this is how I get to the linkage properties: Right click (or Ctrl click) the item you want in the library. Click Properties. Check the box Export for ActionScript if it is unchecked. Enter your Identifier and Class. :) Hope that was what you were talking about, and that I helped. Good luck.
(Continuing from previous post. Sorry for the length, once I start writing I can't stop...:P) Right now if you build the right amount of tower you can just hold out for ever. Also, the 1,200 priced tower seems to be worse than the 1,000 uber tower. And sorry if I seem overly critical, or anything. You asked for input, I'm just listing what I noticed. Great START to a game, but in my opinion it can not be called "Final"...because it's not a finished game. 3/5 for now, and that's generous because I like what it could become. If you ever update, send me a whisper and I'll gladly rerate something higher, you've got a great base for a game, keep it up. :)
Fairly good for a start, but definitely needs a ton of polishing. My suggestions: Increase enemy spawn increment (spacing), introduce a menu screen, 'restart'/'return to menu' upon game over, upgrades for all towers, ability to 'drop' towers if you decide NOT to build one you already selected, turn down the INITIAL difficulty and introduce increasingly difficult 'waves,' (not saying it's too hard, I just mean it starts suddenly and you have to mass a ton of towers just to survive at the start, which isn't how I, personally, like my TDs). Adjust tower pricing (right now you have the 15-100 range, then jumping right to the 1,000+ range with nothing in between), and add varied enemies, with different amounts of health.
Wow, I'm an idiot. :D I had my EnemyShip registered wrong, so none of the coordinates worked. I couldn't figure out why I had to compensate in the code (they'd originally appear and disappear in the wrong spots, and the explosions would bizarrely be offset by a few hundred pixels). Then I realized what it must be, and fixed it. Scary. Eep.
Why is the y axis 'backward' in flash? I'd think that 0,0 would be at the bottom left corner, not the top left. It keeps confusing me. :P I keep thinking values of y increase the nearer the top of the screen they are, when in fact they decrease. 0_o'
Great game. I agree with those that say the controls can be a bit frustrating, and I believe a range overlay would complement them quite nicely, at the very least, or something. But, even with the "flaws" I still gotta say....5/5 :)
Pretty fun game, a nice rendition of an RPG in flash. :)
One question, though, is there less rep for the mercenaries, or did I miss a quest? The last guy won't talk to me, but I'm pretty sure I did all the other quests. Do I just have to kill a bunch of merchants? If so, that's kind of boring. Thanks.
