I know this is particularly random, but I just started the game (which is wonderful btw! I love puzzle platformers) and I can't help but get distracted by how much the font used looks like the ones in Team Fortress 2.
I couldn't help but wish there were halfway checkpoints for some of the levels. I mean, it's tedious when the crucial timing occurs towards the end of the level rather than the beginning and you have to redo everything over just to fail again :<
I understand the limits of what they can do in a flash game compared to the real thing (budget included), but if they're trying to lure more players to buy this game then they're doing it wrong because this flash game is as appealing as watching a snail crawl.
CPU: "you find yourself in a room." ""You Find Yourself In A Room." "YOU FIND YOURSELF IN A ROOM." Me: "you find yourself in a room..." CPU: "No, I said pick a number. A NUMBER. GUESS A NUMBER, WORM." Me: D:
If you're really bad at dodging obstacles by stopping the engine, just upgrade everything except the hull and thrust. Leave the hull at 1 while the thrust should be 3-4. That way, your ship is going slow enough for you to maneuver around approaching obstacles while quick enough to reach 250k without running out of fuel. Just try to pick up any extra fuel along the way.
Lol, we really need obstacles that aren't so close to the launchpad. At one point, I launched straight into a speed gate :\ So much for the hard badge.
I feel that one single level takes far too long to complete. It gets boring just waiting and looking at the thumbs hop around while you're trying to finish the level just to level up for talent points.
Oh? I was only rank 10 but after I became the Great Mage, I got Rank 1? That's nice :) I guess that makes sense though. Anyhoo, this game gives me happy feelings. I liek <3
Beautiful story. This is my second time playing the game :) The only bug I found is that if you summon Derrida with the potion before asking the the mayor about Derrida, the game doesn't give you the book, forcing you to restart the entire game. Not that I minded doing that at all.
the 5th gauntlet level, admittedly, gets easier after you get to the checkpoint. you just need patience... and tons of deaths. and that's odd :/ i'm no computer expert so i can't help you much here (sorry). if you have another computer, i'm pretty sure you'll be able to play perfectly fine there ><;
