Along with my earlier comment, I've noticed more things. So far there is only 1 building that tanks can get into. Putting the barrel of the tank in the side of a wall lets you shoot through. The hit detection is... Well I'll shoot an enemy 7 times and they don't even get hit, while they consistently hit me for the 3 shots and I'm dead.
I think the game is pretty neat but the graphics(collision barriers) and hit detection are pretty bad. Players, given a bit of wiggling can enter inside buildings and shoot players from inside. Players can also shoot through buildings completely. So as it is now, players can just sit in one corner of the map and continuously fire across the map for kills.
Thanks for giving us the keyboard controls for movement, but the game is still imbalanced to me. I'm at lv.6 currently but the AI opponents in my matches are lv.7,8,9, and 10. The AI's lv.9 and 10 kill me in 2 shots, I can barely get a kill with them running around. Please work on the AI level scale
The game gets imbalanced a little ways in. At first when your just getting to lv.2 and getting your beginning weapons upgraded, it's pretty easy. But once I get in to about lv.4 and 5, the enemies started to pretty much 1-3 shot me consistently. Not much room to get exp and cigs when you go from 5-10 kills easily a match, to barely getting 3.
For the love of everything, take the movement control off of the mouse. You know how hard it is to aim when you're constantly moving in the direction your aiming? Make an option to control movement with the arrow keys on keyboard that way I can move comfortably with one hand and aim/attack with the other
I like the environment, at least it's not just some barely above 8-bit world like others that have come out recently. If you took that environment, you could turn it into something pretty cool. Maybe a 1st person shooter, perhaps an adventure game, etc.
The only problem I have is when you try to kick the ball over a teammates/opposing team members heads, they always seem to grab it out of the air. Even when the ball is visibly over their head, they still manage to stop the ball a majority of the time.
I've been waiting 2 weeks for an update, after everybody quit playing I still come around every few days to see if their are any improvements. Their are none as far as I can tell; at this point, I can't even load up any matches, the game just sits on the loading screen that shows the tank controls with a full loading bar. I really liked this game, it's a shame that it died so quickly.
The first day this came out and I finished it, I could kill the final boss in 1 round easily. Now I finish the game again and the boss takes several rounds to kill with maxed ships, stats, and using dynamite every round.
This is actually interesting, but as jimbo said; the arrow keys aren't independent from the actual webpage. When I click up or down, the page itself also scrolls up and down which just kills the playing experience. If you fix that, I would definitely play
A decent time killer but it isn't made to perfection just yet. After spending a good 10 minutes looking, even using browser image zoom-in features, I still couldn't find half the numbers. Part of me feels like they aren't really even in the picture. Some numbers are nearly invisible, it needs to be adjusted, putting a barely visible number against a lighter colored objects makes it near impossible to find the numbers. The game' supposed to be a challenge, not impossible.
Again, some of these challenges are near impossible due to the handling of the car at high speeds and simply because it isn't to swerve to begin with. Please lower the difficulty of some of the challenges where you have to hit an x amount of objects or at least make them spawn more frequently on the track, especially on some of the later levels.
There are many improvements that need to be made: It seems that even though everybody starts with the same tank and engine, some people go wayyy faster than others with no way to control the speed. That needs to be looked into. The graphics are a little bugged, like sand randomly thrust into the street. The hangar interface is extremely confusing, there needs to be some type of tutorial to show players how to buy and upgrade their tank. Tanks seem to be destroyed when they still visibly have a small proportion of health left. For me personally, my tank moves very slow yet I can move MUCH faster when I turn and even faster when I go backwards. All of these made the playing experience kind of difficult. Please fix.
The last update should fix the points mentioned. It seems to be a network lag, if a small proportion of health left in the bar of a destroyed tank/mech. Please give it another try. Thx!
A great game, really neat play style and story line. When I saw that their were hats to get(Which is probably what the future Kong achievement will be), I just started clicking rapidly until I finished. I did go over and read each storyline though, I enjoyed them.
The bug is now fixed!
