Was kinda disappointed when the previous episode wasn't labeled part 1 and ended on a cliffhanger, but this more than makes up for it! Excited to get into the game!
This game is a fantastic example of why RPGs need a compelling story - when the gameplay is dry and there's no real incentive to progress (other than a kongregate badge) people will just stop playing because grinding to incrementally raise numbers by doing tedious things is tedious.
I wanted to like this game, but it suffers a lot from forcing you to do lots of busywork to actually get done what you want to. Especially with the cancel gates (or whatever you wanna call them) it can sometimes be more than half a dozen clicks to move a singular block out of the way. Multiply that amount of wasted clicks and time over an entire level, then multiply that over the last multiple levels and you have an extremely tedious final portion of the game.
I know that people have mentioned that time attack into story trivializes things if you max everything, but you really don't need it. I played through the story and only lost once before the boss level, did 1 time attack to get a bit of extra cash, and then just finished the game. You'll get enough achievements for the badge too, there's no reason to waste all that time grinding for the best stuff unless you wanted to play through the story on expert.
This game was pretty good, but it's certainly not the best VasantJ has put out. There was only minor twists to the mystery which I was able to predict most of well in in advance of the ending which is unusual for this series. The mystery itself was fairly straightforward outside of that, and the only truly interesting parts of the game came from the cutscenes after the game was finished. Not bad overall, but I think this episode was missing the epic conclusion that the other ones had. The reduced difficulty isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I would have liked it a bit harder.
The next level I had a problem with was level 15. This was perhaps more my fault though. I started out by just pushing the boxes around a little bit, and almost immediately found a button. I assumed that meant that I was supposed to just push boxes around until I got everything, so 8-ish minutes of slowly pushing boxes around later I finished the level. While going to write this I checked the hints and discovered there was a better way. Whoops?
The third level I had a problem with was level 20. The level is fairly non-linear so you'll often complete things in various pseudo-random orders, which is not inherently a problem. However, this is a problem when you're mostly done and suddenly an enemy pops out of nowhere and resets your progress. The enemies don't feel like they present much of a challenge, as you just shoot once and they're done; they just feel like they're wasting your time when you have to restart the level because they appeared from somewhere unexpected.
The game was pretty good overall, but I have issues with three specific levels that I'll go over quickly. In 2 parts, because it's about 1500 characters long.
The first I had a problem with was level 10. While not a hard level, even after figuring out the gimmick I probably died about another dozen times because I just barely clipped the edge of a button I wasn't supposed to touch, sometimes by so little that I couldn't even tell that I had. The controls just don't feel precise enough for this level to be enjoyable for me.
Not bad as far as the pay-to-have-objectively-better-cards genre is concerned, but it still is defined by exactly that, unfortunately. Maybe other people will wanna continue past the badge, but I personally like some of the others better, and the energy system in this game is pretty offensively terrible.
Fun game, but I personally found the medium difficulty setting to be a bit too long for my taste. Especially with so many of the enemies being able to heal, the game took forever, and I just decided to stop blocking and get killed at the world 3 boss rather than try to slog all the way to the world 4 boss.
Great game! Level 12 was kinda anticlimactic though, with level 10 easily being the hardest level, and with level 11 being a decent bit harder as well, though my difficulty with level 11 was just a small mistake I caught before finishing the level no problem.
Level 14 is absolute garbage. The key spawns in a random position, but your snake is too long so if you guess incorrectly where the key will spawn you just lose outright and have to replay an entire game of snake, but infinitely less fun.
Could an option be added to not show dead robots on screen? There were levels where I couldn't tell where my units were getting killed from because the enemies blended in with the fallen previous robots.
Fun game, though I felt that most of the levels where fairly easy after you grasped the concept while lacking a final true test of your understanding of the game.
A fun game, but there's very little to it. You fight stuff and click the fire breath button, and if you lose you just wait 20 seconds and try again until you win. And if the game was too hard you could just afk for 5 minutes and steamroll everything. I'm not saying that things should just be stretched out; no one needs another idle game, but having more to do than just upgrading a few things, speccing your princesses, and burning things would be nice.
I remember when this came out. It was fun until I saw an epic and realized it was just better than the less rare stuff in every way and stopped playing. Why was this given another badge?
I've been able to reach the confrontation scene a few times, but never been able to get all of the hints, at which point the game just locks up and becomes unbeatable. Also, if you don't get into the secret room, give up and reload your save the game will think you visited the secret room, even if you never did.

I tried to start twice, and both times I got assaulted by robbers with 3+ people that outnumbered and easily killed me and my hired help. And the tutorial button leads to a 404 not found. I'm sure it's probably a great game once you get going, but that doesn't matter to me if I can't play it.
