Ideas:Left/Right Scroll bar for voting page, make sets so you can switch all of your items out for different ones at the click of a button, a bill filter that shows bills you can play on without the clout tier penalty, a post feed that shows things from all posts you have access to in chronological order (including PAC).
Voting page doesn't need scrollbars. Item sets are not actually useful, but powergamers think they are. The game does not support powergaming, whether or not it's actually effective. You can search for bills without a CT penalty by searching by CT. I'm not really sure that the conglomerated post would be useful.
"The arbitrary game clock? Does anyone actually care? Everything happens at the same RL time." I overdosed taking one hit of cocaine after doing no drugs for 30 hours.
Ok? That has nothing to do with the numbers on the clock. I can, however, tell you that players have absolutely no idea how overdoses work and a lot of mythology about them is circulated by people who try to game the system. There are purposefully a number of random elements in the system to stop people from working it out.
I ran the scripts manually to compensate for what the stalkers did. It's possible things just didn't change much. If any bills still didn't get applied for some reason, they'll pass/apply at the next EOD.
And after they finally let the assassin into the hospital he kills El_Raton just because. Afterwards he has the nerve to try to get back into the hospital and they tell him to go away again.
You said that people would be able to find you in clout because the kongregate API doesn't know the difference between fans and friends. Is there a way you could make it so both parties have to be fans/friends of each other and then they are both added to each others associate list?
There is unfortunately no way to do this as of the last time I checked the Kongregate API. They don't distinguish between fans and friends in any way. I could in theory pull your list of fans and then pull each of their list of fans and cross-reference theirs with yours to see if you're friends... but if you had 100 friends, that'd be 101 calls to Kongregate per page load for your associates. The performance would be comically terrible, and I doubt Kongregate would appreciate it.
Yes, but it would require a nontrivial amount of effort since you're talking about a switch to filter yourself out of everyone else's searches. Obviously it can be done, but it's nowhere near a priority.
Tell Kongregate to add a way to differentiate between fans and friends in the API, because presently there isn't one unless I do a manual two-sided comparison.
I'd really prefer not to have to move the game again, and the stalkers will follow us anyway. It needs to stop here. The hosting company seems to actually be doing something now, so we'll see.
