... which leads directly to the question, what constitutes _victory_ on skirmish? I just won that skirmish even faster, with both opponent bases still active.
Lovely. There's a word you don't hear applied to platformers every day. Elegant, there's another. Relaxing, engaging, seductive, rewarding, mysterious, ...
WOO HOOO!!! 25M points! Calmed down, thought about it, yay! (ok, yes, I'm way too excited about this). I have nothing but awe for the people who can reach level 40+ on this.
Nice intro to sequencer games, "hard" badge will be easy for anyone who's used to thinking ahead and paying attention (maybe whoever came up with the badges hasn't played anything like this before?). This is the lightweight warmup for the 3D Logic games, not a bad thing at all.
Here's the buy sequence I've worked out for myself: 1st target, $1250 for the +4 loot, then $600 to buy a ship and the +3 loot, then $1625 to sell the +3 loot and buy the top combo chest, then $1500 to buy a ship and the next combo chest, then $3250 to buy a ship and the +4 weapons, then sell the +4 loot for +4 speed to take out the Thunder. Just ... need ... last .. medal ...
The only thing that keeps this game from being perfect is what's necessary to get a high score. Can we please pleasepleasepleaseplease get a patch to, I don't know, make it so you have to collect pixels to _prevent_ the level advancing?
Level 18 is hard for me, *much* harder than the earlier ones. I like the mix of things to track, getting to the surface makes a great puzzle, and having to solve the time-pressure and going-up puzzles in parallel is a new one on me. Kudos!
Agggh, on Blast from the Past I kept thinking the second-from-bottom layer had creep on it, was wondering how much I'd have to build to drain it because it just never cleared ... :-P duh.
