I wish the Dev would come back and care for his game. I like the concept and I'm having fun, but with more attention and love this game (or its promised sequel) could be much better! Such a waste...
Fixed tutorials are bad. I can't get past 1-2 since I have no control over deck building and the tutorial deck building screwed me over because of the Kongregate Ant!
I like the game; good improvements over Alchemy Clicker overall! I might not have played long enough, but I have yet to find any hints as to what I'm doing besides getting filthy rich with nothing to spend it on. Also: It quickly becomes clear that items such as the Club can simply be skipped. I'd like an upgrade that consumes like 1000 wood for a single improved Club.
Welp, I can't get past the puppet slider puzzle! I tried it several times and tried to approximate as much as possible, but the puppet on the picture is leaning sideways and we can't recreate that. Lost my patience and interest.
For your first playthrough: You won't be able to idling won't be strong enough until you've rewound time for once (level 100), so don't invest into your heroes. You want to buy the Huntress though, since you want to open chests when you have her on the field, so she gets permanent buffs for your next run (she'll carry you in the next run). Click a lot and invest gold only into your click damage. Don't forget to open all the chests you have before turning back time. Save your gems for the chronosphere (costs 500, only available after first rewind). Rerolling your artifact is only worth it for the first one you get, up until 10 times; try to get Zod’s dice, Jacobi’s glasses, Time Needless or Swallow’s Purse. Good luck!
I loved the game in the beginning, but now advancing in the game feels so punishing! Because when I unlock a new upgrade it allows for a much more productive layout, which means I have to get rid of everything I've built and replace it. I have to build everything manually again. I'd much prefer more factories with less areas to buy, where there's a specific product and upgrade path per factory. I want to be rewarded for clever planning, but with every upgrade I have to destroy what I've built and thought of. Where's the fun in that?
I actually didn't notice that the other plots you can buy on the map are as cheap as 700$ for a long time. I just assumed those were the other factories costing like 1 million! Now I'm going places! Great game!
I feel some classes are clearly better than others. Bard is great for distributing your healing, so you only need a single target healer like monk and you can put the rest into a damage team with knight and/or blademaster up front. Also I understand that allowing for more than 1 of each class is making balancing harder, but I'd still love to be able to choose my team composition more freely. I'm one of those guys who plays final fantasy with 4 thieves.
Thanks! Do you mean that you pay upgrades with resources instead of with money? Interesting idea, I have to think about this.
