I generally like the update changes, but the defence tree is basically useless except for HP and universal resistance/defence. I had to change my play style to be extremely aggressive now and I don't feel like I can play another way without significantly more resources for the same results.
It seems like a fun game and good concept, but the execution is not all there yet. There's no real strategy involved in my opinion: I just choose all the spells from the same element based on which one has most essences, put in the same gem into all the slots (usually sapphire for crit trigger) and talent for element crit trigger. There are probably ways to grow faster, but why bother when the difference doesn't matter that much?
I really like where this game is going! It's unique and fun and even if it is grindy I always feel like I'm making progress. My favourite play style is to defense up and cleave everything down.
Is there someone who can sum up the story over all the submachines please? I played and beat every game, but I never knew what was going on story wise.
Uh oh! I'm pretty far into the game and I ran out of items after getting into the S-3-C gate. Now I have to search all the rooms for items I might've missed.
Well, that was short and sweet! For all those who're stuck: Go staff (when buying weapons prioritise low cast times vs dmg). Only put skill points into aqua tree, rushing Piercing Shot. Then you may want to fill up the rest of the skill tree for the achievement and stronger tidal wave. You can and should cast tidal wave a lot thanks to your piercing shots, remember to jump while casting to avoid getting hit. Use the rest of the skillpoints to get stats, first movement speed then HP, Defense and evasion. For Items you get a huge survivability boost by buying HP rings early on. Late game I got movement speed for kiting and dodging boss attacks, HP and regen. Final tip: if you're lacking souls take a look at possible achievements.
Came back from holidays. Saw updates. Linking cloud to Kongregate felt so good! Now if only I can rush the final R15 stretch so that I can play around with research...
Really charming game. I sometimes took my time looking at the entire rooms, even if I already found the objects. The drawings are especially cool and I could've sworn some of them were drawn by me when I was younger!
Sun Blessing is great! I never wanted to use autoclick programs, so this gets me clicks without cheating. Great updates all round! Everytime I try to catch up the game just keeps expanding and becomes deeper.
Lots of good ideas, but there's too much micromanagement to be done for my taste. I like my idle games simpler, where I only have to implement a strategy and watch it grow instead of clicking a thousand things. Whenever I grow here I need to: Decide which crusader I want to use, adjust formation accordingly, level accordingly, buy skills, assign equipment, use boosters, use spells, select level, ... This is the busyiest I ever had to be in an idle game! Some people might like it, but this is certainly not my kind of idle game. Still well done 3/5.
Although I realize it's not this kind of game: offline gameplay is quite limited. Otherwise nice game. Could also use some more reset options to increase replay value.
Thanks for the feedback. =)
