it's also kind of weird that the manipulators only point right, and can't extend off screen. A left-pointing manipulator might make for more elegant systems and programs.
It would be nice if there was a step through feature. Sometimes it is helpful to see what is going on at each step instead of just running it until it crashes. With a lot of activity going in, it can be hard to find the error.
