Something else that tends to work well is just having a little patience - the errors are usually fixed within a day or so, and as long as you have your save file, you'll be able to get it again. Reporting it is still the safest option, but if you really don't want to bother, just wait.
It turns out that if your connection's too slow to run this properly, it's like being in CONSTANT BULLET TIME. It turns out that the Matrix is pretty dull once you're in it. I imagine my little guy looking at his watch as the bad guys leap slooooowly toward him. Kind of fun; wonder what it'd be like if it ran at full speed. :P

The badge should be for getting a x125 multiplier, which is precisely the moment at which the game loses interest. Or even a x999 multiplier badge. Level 42 requires a lot of time spent in other windows waiting for zombies to wander towards you.
