Why do the bones stretch?
i guess he doesnt really check that they wont , i think its a huge problem , and also that fact that the friction is too low , so most creatures slide rather than walk , there should be an option for friction.

koolaidperson2 idd, but you should be able to resume the generations, so you dont waste so much time at an allready broken start"
i completely agree, i even suggested that to the dev when he released this , but if it was cheez's way then every time you run your creature you would get the same results , which defeats the purpose.
aslo for those interested in genetic algorithms take a look at this one.

"wtf this is sooooooooo gay... if u save a creature it does something different everytime u press Generate Animation (not changing anything to the creature) BryceSummer, please fix."
thats the point of a genetic algorithm , everytime you run it it randomly generates the muscle movements, resulting in better/different creatures each time.
i recommend watching some actionscript tutorials on youtube , and then find a actionscript help forum and ask any questions you have there (be sure not to ask very newbish questions)
actually if the dev wanted to improve on this he could add options for things like
-bone stretchiness
-friction
-muscle strength
and if he wanted to get even more complicated with the genetic algorithm he could add an energy start level and each muscle "twitch/movement" can use some energy , and the creature that gets the furthest before its energy runs out wins.
