the first mission is a damned tutorial that FORCES you to do exactly what they tell you so you learn the game. you can literally not continue untill you do what the game tells you in mission 1. and what it tells you gets you the basics of the game.
"either my lance falls steadily to the ground or lifts it up and over his head.... NO CONTROL WHATEVER!!! WHAT GIVES???? "
NO CAPS PLEASE, also clicking your mouse gives it a boost up, a small one plus there is a delay so you got to develop a sense of timing.
never said the guy was creepy, just the setting of the character we are controlling strugling to not go down with the picture and parts of the picture everywhere gives the smile a creepy touch. :D
a ton of pictures of a guy with a (in this setting anyway) creepy smile and a character desperate to not go down. hmm..
im gonna try and not think about any meaning. 5/5 though.

''uh guys, im gonna call it quits now, ok? guys?'' *boom* "..... damn it guys, knock it off already, i cant believe i dodged that one too.... oh.... i didnt.... "*thud*
the add another gun upgrade makes the dont hit relics mission a pain to complete. very short game too, a bit too short. oh i had the flame gun by the time the worms came, but what if i didnt? would i get hit by every worm that comes at me, making the game potentially unwinnable?
(cont) then when everything is build and i got a good supply of power in reserve i charge a bomber directly at each node and the rest where they can do the most damage and have 3 lasers hug each spawner(pause to have everything leave at the same time) and pray to whatever deity is out there they wont expend too much ammo securing the spawners and that i can get them more ammo in time. also replace all of the lasers as soon as they liftoff incase i cant supply the ones in the field in time. oh and relays leave an uneven number of tiles between them ( like 7, 9? so go max range and then move 1 closer so you dont waste valuable space) ofcourse if the creep is higher then you then youre screwed. forget about it, pop some green land generators and lasers, it wont help you win but it will give you a few mins to cry in a fetus position.
personally my strategy is to build as many reactors(ive never build those other energy colector things that turn the land green unless the game forced me) usually 2-3 then 1 mortar and send it to a strategic location. then pray i can get a energy relay line to it in time (though usually it will hit deep creep enough to slow them down a lot so its not a problem) once its got energy flowing to it i get another mortar build as emergency backup then start pumping as many generators as i can making sure not to overload the energy network(build few at a time) along with 9 storage and 10 speed ups. also leaving room for 3 regular lasers per spawner and 1-2 bombers.
ralfo: you start with 1500, i used it to buy a gun and hunted everyone, after that i started getting better weapons while getting and staying in the 2nd car for the entire game. i wasnt joking when i said i hadnt won a single race by actually crossing the finish line
4th all time highscore on my first playthrough (well 2nd but i died in round 2 the first try lol)
tip: max cash income first. if you cant stay alive long enough to do that you wouldnt stay alive long enough to win anyway since youd be losing out on a lot of income.
that creepy guy made this site
