I was initially apprehensive- reading the comments made me think this was going to be another piece of trite "artsy" bullshit that has lately been plaguing this site. Not so. It takes a very simple concept- rhythm jumping- and adds a kickass (in the sense that soothing and gentle can be kickass) soundtrack, nice animation, and a good job. Issues: last level was far too easy. That's pretty much it. Nice, short, simple. 4/5
how to kill samurais- spam. keep your mouse trained on him at all times and just keep clicking. Always run away, when you hit a wall and he starts running towards you, jump. If there's two or more, run like hell.
When the class increases, the size of the tank should increase as well. If decreasing the size of a tank does not affect the firepower but actually affects the gameplay size, that is bad. Just have a fixed radius circle as the area that's a target for enemies, it makes it such that just resizing your tank doesn't make it harder to hit.
I really like the way you're going with the customization option, but there are still many things that could be improved. 1. NO GODDAMN RED. Seriously, no. 2. Bubble points are pretty much useless. They have no purpose. Just give us unlimited bubbles. 3. The editor could definitely use some work. Error messages don't go away, symmetry mode is annoying, and higher classes can just be achieved by moving the tank forward. If that can be done, I think a simple "choose your class" switch would work much better. 4. More gun points. Really. Give us more.
This is seriously weak imagery. Though the graphics were good, and the atmosphere was perfect, the storyline was weak, characters weren't developed/explained in the slightest, and overall, it's not a good game.
@ Deepfriedsushi- indeed it does not, unless you disobey instructions, in which case the world will become obscured by colorful blocks. If you obey instructions, graphics improve. I would suggest throwing yourself into pits, after all, there is no real world damage, or any damage in the game, for that matter!
I am sorry, but the flash game, in general, is a miserable failure of a storytelling platform. Write a short story. Film a movie. For the love of god, if you have a story, don't use a flash game.
how to beat the boss: fight your way to the outermost sideline alley. avoid all fights. once there, just kill the base in that alley, you'll outnumber it. then, wait for the right moment to strike the top base, which will be busy fighting everybody else. once you've got the top base, it's game over.
