(1) Please add a mute button.
(2) Arrows should yield much lower XP per kill than units.
(3) There should be some negative element to running longer games - a time limit, or scoring decreases over time, or enemy mana generation increases over time leading to more enemy units? At some point the returns should completely diminish (effectively setting a points cap for each level).
A fun and - yes - addictive game. However, the level of strategy falls off as your creatures reach the max. Might be interesting to further customize at max level in a way that also slightly crippled the animal (such as trading HP for more counter).
While many of the new features - like the wave progress indicators and the speed-up button - are welcomed improvements, the further bifurcation of the mage skill tree takes a lot away from the strategy element of the prior version. More choice doesn't always make for a better game.
The game is needlessly loud and suffers from a lack of mute. Also, the constant gore on the ground makes it extremely difficult to see oncoming enemies.
