There is a bug with leaving the game and coming back in in regards to PPS and cost for buying pixels. The PPS I had when I left last night is still there, however everything is back to the original PPS and cost per pixel from when I started. So after going from roughly 150 black pixels to 200, they now add .4 PPS and cost 198 per.
Of all the things included in this game, which is a fairly nice amount so far, there are some little things that appear to have been over looked. A quick way to see just how much of a total bonus you're getting from Trophy Room is one of these things.
A serious flaw in raiding is that once a raid is complete you cannot go back to that raid map once you leave it. Example: I finished the 4th raid and after only looting the first drop I click the exclamation point at the bottom (haven't played in several updates) that took me back to the base. Once there I had no way of going back to the raid that I could find, and thus lost out on the loot I had earned.
It seems after a certain point the amount of money you gain greatly out paces the ability to buy anything. So I went from not getting the money to seemingly buy much to having a good amount of money to buy things to being able to buy everything from the merchant and having to just sit on my growing horde of gold.
I certainly like it, though there are things I think could use some work. Do skills stack or not, so does it work to have two multi-shot skills on one archer, for example? Not being able to see specific character stats adds some guesswork, but it is pretty straight forward overall. The things I'd like to see are things like attack delay, or healing power on the healers. Is the appearance of the merchant random or is it something like he appears for X minutes every Y minutes? As a side note trying to not spoil surprises on an Alpha isn't a good plan. It helps us a lot to know what all is going on to be able to test it well. Also, on the merchant subject, it is a bit annoying to have what looks like the only source of skills in game be random, forcing us to keep checking instead of letting an idle game be more idle. With the rate of money I'm getting having the merchant always be there wouldn't affect the game that much, it would be a great convenience to players though.
Having very odd problems with income/second. It keeps rapidly bouncing between what it should be (100/s for example) and something 2-4 times higher than it should be. Since I gain a tiny amount of $/sec with shots fired the $/shot jumps rapidly between what it should be and something a bit higher as well.
Really wish that this had some sort of manual save button along with the auto-save feature. Frustrating to lose various amounts of progress without knowing when it will save. Overall a decent yet very basic idle game.
The game really should give you the ability to actually idle it, and by that I mean switch tabs and do other things without it pausing until you get back. Not much fun to have to sit and stare at it when it should be idle.
