If you told me that a game consisting of left, right, and interact could be this enjoyable, I would have said no way.
I loved how minimal everything was/is. I clicked E on the fire every time I passed. It was my entire world and I actually got some comfort and felt less alone. When the alchemist joined and I couldn’t click on the fire anymore I actually stopped, took my hands off the keyboard and mouse, and just sat for a moment. I wasn’t upset I couldn’t click the fire, I didn’t realize how alone I had actually felt. It made the act of clicking the fire feel so empty now that there was an actual person there.
I’m not sure it was intentional, but I love that everything that was important switched from the fire, to the alchemist (et al). It was a different light and warmth, a better one. I think my only complaint was it ended so quickly, but in that I’m not sure that was wrong, after all you’re supposed to leave them wanting more. Well done and a very sincere thank you.
Final boss is basically impossible. Lag gets so bad (even first time after restarting browser) that I stop shooting and can't use abilities for up to 15 seconds.
