I love this game. I like how it forces you to balance between resource gathering and building up the right defenses. It adds an excellent twist to general TD difficulty.
the easiest way to beat epic is to go through the 20 levels 3 times. it may take more or less, but the way to go is to get one of the eliete ships and in the legendary shop buy the part that allows powerups to stay through stages, the part that powers up the super items, and the part that gives you +20 slots. then with the 20 slots you can buy almost all the black market and eliete stuff (i suggest +20%, +5%, and +10% damage) and the part in black market that makes powerups not run out. then anytime in your last run get any of the super-power weapons (wave, then the triangle type shot; lazer then double shot) when you get to epic that time you should be able to breeze through him. i got hit maybe 5 times in my fight against him. the easiest way to beat the hard level is to have beaten all other campaigns first(not deluxe) and then a dual machine gun a sniper and 3 damage buffers, at level 2 the sniper can do 3 damage per hit, and by the final level the dual machine does(if only upgraded for damage) 8 and the sniper(if uped for max reload first then all into damage) does 99 damage, on kongregate challenge, to beat full through(beat entire wave) its easiest to have 3 sheild's and 1 dual machine gun, the 1st sheild protects the 2nd which protects the 3rd which protects the machine gun.
